Hampton Inn Long Island/Islandia

Pool is too cold We decided to rent this hotel for its indoor pool on a weekend when there was a lot of rain in the forecast to celebrate our anniversary along with our 6yo. Unfortunately while we had the pool to ourselves, the water was too cold and our kiddo only made it about 15min in the water before her lips started trembling. I asked the front desk if it were possible to make it warmer and they said it wasn’t. Without the heat of the sun and the warmth outdoors, this pool is just too cold. This whole thing was a bust. Aside from that, the hotel is fine. The room was humid but clean.

Great stay! The staff are very friendly and we never had to wait to be addressed by staff when waiting at the front desk. The breakfast was a true continental breakfast, which met our expectations. Parking was great, hotel was quiet, check in was quick! Nice pick for 1 night.

Great stay! I am not one to write reviews, but the staff at the Hampton Inn Islandia is exceptional and should be commended! Gen Manager Kaitlyn Young was kind, helpful, courteous and professional. We didn't know the area very well and were staying at the hotel until we found an apartment. This young lady tended to all our concerns and needs. Couldn't have been nicer. The first night the gentleman I believe his name was Romero gave a needed toothbrush and deodorant. I told him so sorry I came unprepared. He replied, "no issue we are prepared. Just let us know what you need". Then there was George (chief engineer) . A perfect gentleman! Came running to carry my heavy bags and also immediately fix the doorknob when it was sticking. The ultimate was Rommy. Some noisy and inconsiderate guests were loud and obnoxious late in the evening. She changed the room for my daughter and made sure she was in a quiet room for the night. Also, gave her a snack seeing how upset she was. When I called to thank this lovely lady, she replied that's my job! I assured her not many people do their jobs so efficiently and professionally. Rooms were clean, breakfast was great and plentiful and the staff truly amazing! Thank you all for a great stay. Top notch staff!

Great staff Great accommodations and allowed a late checkout since my flight left late. Awesome staff! Pleasant facilities and free breakfast. They were able to honor room change request and hospitality is great. Very clean and comfortable. I will return.

Great customer service! Bobby was phenomenal! We had a mix up of rooms and names of rooms and Bobby immediately was able to handle the situation! He helped us get an additional room for our party. He is a great addition to the team and should be considered for management opportunities! I will definitely be staying here again as long as Bobby is working here, Thank you Bobby! _
