Good Location and Good Breakfast This is the second time I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in Jackson Tn. Both times I have had the same experience. The hotel is located near the interstate and is easy to get to . Parking was easy and I was able to see my car from my room. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was very professional and quickly got me checked in. My room was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was very good. The breakfast area was fully stocked and everything was fresh. The dining area was clean and well maintained. Quick out was a breeze and I was on my way quickly.

Dirty Shower We stayed on the road at this Holiday Inn Express one night on our vacation. Everything seemed fine until we checked the shower. It was full of black mold. I refused to take a shower at all but my husband braved it briefly. I wanted to let the hotel know as we left but there was no one manning the front desk the next morning. I did use the first floor hotel bathroom as we were leaving and it was similarly dirty. We bypassed this hotel on our way home.

Stains and Noise 1. There were stains on the bedding. Possible stains that did not wash out. 2. Stains on the floor. 3. Noise/ music coming from the lobby all night and mechanical sound from outside. I stayed on the first floor. I had stayed at many Holiday Express Inns that were fine but this was the worse! Will not stay at another Holiday Inn Express - lack of consistency.

Do NOT stay here! Do NOT stay here!!! They charged my credit card for 4 nights instead of the 1 night I stayed, because they claim I did not cancel. I cancelled the 3 remaining nights verbally at the front desk the morning I checked out. I stayed here 1 night & they ripped me off. I am currently working the problem with IHG.com.

Hateful and Nasty General Manager The general manager needs to be fired and relieved of her duties…Alyson Phillips! I prepaid weeks ago in full for a one night stay. Two days before arriving, I received an email from my bank that there were $640 fraudulent charges on my debit card! When I tried to check in they requested to put a $30.00 refundable charge on my card. I informed them my situation with the debit card on hold. I asked them to please work with me and to accept $30.00 in cash because my card was on hold. She told me many times that “it was policy” that she had to have the amount on a card or else no room! I even showed them my email from the bank that states the fraudulent charges on my account! She refused to assist me and we had to leave and find another hotel. I understand policy.However, sometimes life is not just black and white. There are cases in which the policies should be “flexible” to accommodate the situation at hand. We found that night a hotel that understood our dilemma and helped us with a room. Our final room in Indiana at a Hilton Garden Inn for 5 night ( already pre paid as well) was greeted with a “no problem” with the desk clerk. I have never been treated so hateful in my life and the corporate people are now aware of this situation. Never ever again will I stay in either a Holiday inn or express. They have lost a valuable customer.
