Great place to stay with dogs This hotel is very nice. They allow pets, so we always stay there on our way to visit family. The rooms are clean and they usually give us a ground floor room so it's easy to take our dogs out. The beds are soft and they give you plenty of pillows. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby is clean an inviitng. They also offer a contential breakfast, but we only had coffee.

No Quality at the Inn We endured one night at this scary facility on March 17, 2024. I chose this hotel because we had enough Choice Privileges points to earn a free night, but we didn't have enough points to stay at a better Choice Hotel. "How bad could it possibly be," I asked she whom I love. Answer: It can be darn bad. We do not stay in establishments that lack interior corridors. This weird place appeared to have inside hallways only on the third floor, so I took extra pains to specify an interior corridor as a must when making the online reservation. At check-in, of course, we were assigned to room 123, and I said, "Nope. We require an indoor corridor." The young woman at the desk cheerfully said that was no problem and accommodatingly made the switch. Kudos to the one staff person with whom I interacted. Even horrible reviews need to mention SOMETHING nice. My initial impressions of this, this, I'll call it a motel, were unfavorable. I consistently was on the alert for unsavory criminals executing drug deals or standing by with an axe to commit random murder. The basically exterior elevator area was dirty, and the elevator itself made disconcerting screeching and clanging noises. I didn't even WANT to look for the elevator service record. But it did manage to convey us to the third floor, where our assigned room was around the corner in a tired, dingy hallway. "It's free, it's free," I continued to remind myself as we walked into the cheerless tiny room. Cleanliness was questionable, and it was dark. After opening the curtains, we discovered we had a lovely view of the elevator out of our window. So much for any hope of privacy. Creature comforts almost were non-existent. Counter space near the bathroom sink was extremely limited. I struggled to find places to put our stuff. Even finding a plug-in for our small electric cooler was inconvenient. This time the only thing nice I can think of to say about our accommodations was that the free breakfast exceeded my expectations. Mind you, I struggled to rotate the waffle iron correctly, unfortunately burning myself in the process of leaving it in a jumbled mess. Sorry about that. But the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich was tasty. It seems a bit cheesy to lay out frozen, store-bought breakfast sandwiches (which were no longer frozen), but I enjoyed this more than many of the breakfast buffets I've had in better establishments. With one exception (the rather expensive Holiday Inn Express), we've not had a good experience with Jackson hotels. Actually, we've not had a good experience with Jackson in general. Our impressions of this town are negative. But, dang it, we've not discovered a more convenient place to spend the night along this particular stretch of I-40. If Choice Hotels wants to maintain a lodging establishment at this location, my recommendation is to raze this miserable dump and build a new hotel. It's time.

Yuck. Dirty. Gross. We must’ve been given a smoking room. The air was awful in the room, cigarette burns in the blankets. The night stand still had drink rings from the last person who stayed. Shower was dirty. Shower head was spraying everywhere except for where it should. Felt dirt staying there and felt dirty all day after I left. We were in a bind driving and needed a place to stay that allowed pets. Eek. Should’ve kept driving. Breakfast was frozen breakfast sandwiches that you could microwave or waffles.

Keep moving...nothing to make you stay here. Absolutely shocking place. Very unhelpful staff and an ignorant manager. Received additional unauthorised charge on our account which they refused to refund. Dingy room with uncomfortable beds. Very poor breakfast, trash can was full of old food. Staff were like zombies! Avoid and move on.

A lousy place to stay We asked for a two queen non smoking room on the quiet side, i.e. away from the interstate and close to the center of the hotel since I had an accident which precludes me from walking far. When we checked in the reception clerk was given that information. She kept asking if we had pets, the answer was always no. The room we were given was a smoking room on the interstate side as far away from the middle of the hotel as possible. We will NEVER EVER stay at this hotel again. The negative impression this hotel made on us will definitely cause us to avoid Jackson, TN altogether.
