Great, simple accomodations Front desk was great, able to change my reservations. You can walk to town and are right next to Glorietta, a great restaurant owned by the Anvil. Room was simple, clean. Great to have parking. I will be back!

Great Location, Amenities and Overall Quality Lacking We stayed at The Anvil in late July and loved its location relative to the downtown Jackson area. It was accessible to all restaurants and major thoroughfares. That said, our experience with the quality of the rooms and amenities left a lot of room for improvement. We requested a quiet room in advance of our trip and were promised one. Thus, it was very disappointing to be woken up by noise from the upstairs and next door rooms. Furthermore, basic amenities such as daily cleaning and linen refreshes were not provided unless requested. The room itself seemed updated but not very well-maintained. There was also no assistance provided by the hotel staff w/r/t activities such as excursions or tours. The on-site restaurant, Glorietta, was fantastic but again, the staff was unable to help us with dinner reservations. There also seemed to be very limited staff on-site and those that were working were only able to provide a minimal service level. Finally, our room cost over $700/night on average for our trip. At this price point, there are many other hotels that offer better service levels and room quality. The location and parking availability were this property's only redeeming values.

Not great I wanted to like this hotel. And I empathize that things are still uneven post covid. The website looked great and promised a lot. Basically it’s a motel with a thin hipster veneer. The rooms are tiny, the service was nonexistent – – – I had a wedding to go to and could not get an iron despite requesting for twenty four hours. They advertised coffee and pastries in the morning but had no pastries. The bikes they offer are in such bad shape that the desk clerk recommended we instead rent them down the street. They never entered or cleaned the room to empty trash, check on soap etc in four days. The shower was a tiny stall. They overcharged my bill by $350 (erroneously adding a night) and I’m still waiting for them to return my email about it. The lounge area was four Adirondack chairs set out on the paved parking lot on a busy street. It was pricy, but not comfortable or hospitable.

Nice room, great location The room was very nice, clean and large. Despite over $300 a night, there was no daily service over 4 days for trash, towels, etc. Room was not available until after 4. We do not recommend the breakfast option they suggested at their "sister property" the Alpine House. Cheaper and much better food at the Bunnery or coffee shop nearby.

Find another hotel Overpriced for the poor accommodations and poor service. Room was very small and the amenities were sparse. The website does not properly reflect the room. The front desk person was terrible at communicating
