How Suite It Wasn’t This was my first time at this Hampton Inn and my second time at a Hampton Inn in 8 days. We made reservations in advance for two rooms for one night. Access is not off the main road so you need to get to it via a road that runs alongside of it. What I Liked: - The check-in process was easy - The rooms were functional with no major issues - We were upgraded to a suite for one of our two rooms - The free breakfast buffet was better than average albeit not gourmet but if that is what you were expecting you deserve to be disappointed. The assortment is diverse enough for all ages. - Its location provided easy access to the airport - The suite had a couch and wet bar area. We used the couch to lay out our suitcases. What I Did Not Like - The toilet was not functioning properly in the Suite and needed some extra attention to properly flush it - The Suite was not as functional a you might expect and was actually a nuisance because access around the bed was very tight based on the furniture configuration - The room interiors had no been upgraded in recent years from what I could tell My overall stay rating is average with the free breakfast buffet being a tad above average. They were planning on doing a lot of interior carpeting work on some of the floors so rooms were limited.

my honest review I liked the place except that the rooms could use some updating, especially the furniture that housed the fridge, microwave and cooler. I was happy that they had a microwave cus i had just spend five night at the Hyatt Regency Riverview and there was no microwave. Kudos to Kadiesha, who was wonderful and professional. A great staff member. good breakfast and free shuttle to airport.

Very Disappointed Hotel was clean. That’s why it gets a 1. Disappointed in the restaurant. Waited 40 minutes for a flatbread. Only 2 other customers in the restaurant. Given one cookie for two people. Asked twice later for another so we each could have one. They didn’t have any more. TV had no options for inputs, so I was out of luck for doing my computer spreadsheets from my computer. Nor could I connect my Netflix to the TV. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in a year.

Great staff!!! All employees were kind and professional and absolutely make this hotel a place to come back to. Every front desk person we encountered was kind and helpful answering any questions we had. Our family fell in love with “mama” at breakfast. She made everyone feel special and important. She was a highlight of our trip. The gentleman cleaning the floors and elevators was kind and observant and noticed when my mom came in with me at one point and then when my younger brother and family got in he had remembered he had seen her with her daughter earlier. Again, just friendly and attentive. Kudos to Hampton Inn & Suites for your outstanding staff! The hotel is clean, but you can tell it’s a little bit older. There were signs of wear and tear in the room such as the vanity in the bathroom was chipped and there appears to be a water pressure issue because we had multiple rooms and all had the same issue (which was not a problem that we needed to have addressed during our stay because the water still worked). The toilets are horribly low it’s like sitting on the floor. Probably the worst aspect of staying here. Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues like myself. In fact we would tell each other, I have to go sit on the floor to indicate we would be in the restroom. I did research accessible rooms, but they stated they had “lowered toilets” oh my goodness! Lower? The toilets in this hotel are not ADA height. As with all hotels, the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear a lot of noises from attached rooms, the hall and from outside. Despite a few small complaints, we would stay here again when in the area.
