Horrifying, scary , racist I’m here on an FEMA voucher , the younger Indian man ( property manager) and the older Indian man his father is very prejudiced towards POC AND FEMA voucher holders. Since the first day the young man was very rude to me he told me I can’t have my puppy , a week goes by and I see a Caucasian lady walk through the breakfast den with her 3 foot tall dog, okay cool. A few days after that house keeping lady who has her 5 year old daughter working there with her , come to my room 9 am after I’ve gotten off of a 16 hour shift comes in my room without knocking and says through an translator “ you guys need to get out so I can clean “ so I made an complaint about rudeness and since then they’ve been picking at me. A few days ago me and an nice Caucasian man were at the desk waiting for 15 minutes to be serviced were chatting it up and the older Indian man approached the Caucasian man first , the Caucasian man said “ nah man the lady was here first “ the older Indian man turned towards me with the nastiest look on his face and said “ what do you want ma’am “ I was only up there to get my keys reactivated because they were deactivated and I couldn’t get into my room , he argued with me about pure nothing just to be rude towards me. A few days past the same house keeping lady came into my room again unaware and told me to get out again very rudely so I quietly left after noticing I was being targeted, a few minutes later I get a call from the young Indian man that it’s “ blood and feces on all of my towels “ I just recently had a birthday and I whipes my birthday makeup off onto the face towel and I calmly explained that to him , he made an big deal infront of everyone downstairs so I showed him the towel and he continued to argue with me and said “ well ma’am if you want they can vacuum and fix your trash but nothing else for you” I said okay and went back up stairs. Well today my husband whom I’m having marital problems with came to visit me and the young Indian man said to my husband “ alright you need to leave before I call the police” and turned to the young african American man whom my husband was smoking an cigarette with and said to him “ go before I check you out “ my husband asked could he go upstairs and grab his things the man said “ no no leave “ and he asked my husband to call me downstairs when I got downstairs the young Indian man said “ ma’am I told you you can’t have visitors when I checked you in , do I need to check you out too and make you leave ? “ so I said he doesn’t stay here sir he’s just visiting me & he said to be but hear been here all day , which he wasn’t with me all day. He said again “ I can check you out right now if that’s what you want “ I said “ no for what ?” He replied “ oh okay” and walked away. My mental health is NOT OKAY I don’t feel safe here I feel very ridiculed, humiliated, tormented and felt like I’m being discriminated against, something has to be done.
