Run for your life! I wish I could give this place a zero.. I am actually still stuck here.. This place is sooooo run down and the property not the rooms look anything like the online pictures.. The room smelled so bad when I checked in I had to leave the door open for over an hour and there is no WiFi nor a pool.. I have been trying to speak to someone at the front desk for over an hour and no one is even working in there.. The lobby door STAYS locked so business is conducted through a slot in the window.. I even had a hooker knock on my door to offer her services.. I can’t wait for my truck repairs to be completed so I can get out of here.. I will be running, not walking..

If it were possible to give this property an F- I would We were first put in a smoking room, when we had requested a non-smoking room. Then we were told we had to call the booking service in order to get a room change. In the new room the handle fell off the shower when we tried to turn it on. The blow dryer didn't work and we were told they couldn't replace it because it was Sunday. The bathroom door did not close leaving a 2" gap. In the third room the blow dryer worked and the handles didn't fall off, but the bathroom door had a 4" gap to close. DO NOT GO HERE!

Not at all what we were expecting! Reserved a non-smoking room, but the room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke that we couldn't tolerate it. Would have gotten more sleep if had slept in the car. Checked out the next morning - was told they didn't have any room to move me to the night before.

Find another hotel in Jacksonville This place was gross. From the carpets to the smell it was repulsive. And the clerk himself was very odd. He gave us keys to the wrong room to start and then the only room available was NOT the king size bed I had booked but to twins. I should have just left then but we had checked in and we’re running on a tight schedule to an event. Oh and they DO NOT clean these rooms other than change the sheets. We witnessed the staff go in change the sheets and crack the blinds open and leave, with no cleaning supplies to be seen on there cart.

Nasty! False advertising at it’s best (worst?). I would have given 0 stars if possible. All of the pics are stock and do not reflect the terrible condition of this dated property. When I arrived, it was late and I had no choice but to stay since Co-vid 19 was limiting the amount of available Ubers plus the fact the location was in a bad part of town and I needed to get locked in for the night. Which, by the way, were not working very well. I had asked for their best and quietest room and since that’s what I got I can only imagine what the rest of the rooms were like. I would have demanded a refund and looked for something else but had to get up in 10 hours to catch my transportation back to Oklahoma. The room was dated, sticky, musty, and I caught a glimpse of the mattress that looked like it was 30 years old. The desk was falling apart along with the other furniture. Bathroom lights were flickering with what seemed to be a dangerous electrical short. The place was so nasty I slept on top of the comforter and didn’t dare get under the covers. Please understand, I drive trucks for a living and so I can put up with anything for a night, but this was almost impossible to put up with for even 10 hours. Won’t ever stay in ANY Magnuson property if this is how they allow their name to be represented. Avoid at all costs!
