Convenient The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. My room was average, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There was an odor in my room that I mentioned upon checkout and the man at the front desk said he would check it out. The odor wasn't bad, just noticable by the microwave and didn't belong. The room was fairly clean, and the price was right. It is a covenient stop off the highway - right next to a Love's gas station.

BEWARE! BEWARE: "Our AWFUL experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We were part of a group attending a softball tournament and found the lobby seating to be inadequate. When we tried to bring in additional chairs, the staff called the police instead of attempting to resolve the issue with us directly. The police officer’s response was aggressive, resulting in one of our group members being injured and charged, which we believe was unwarranted. This happened in front of children, and the officer raised his voice, telling us to go to our rooms while we were visiting and watching our kids swim. He then closed the pool early. Additionally, there was a strong smoke smell throughout the hotel that was not from cigarettes, which caused discomfort for our daughter, who is highly allergic to smoke! This was a very distressing experience for us, and we felt that the staff did not address our concerns appropriately. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again!”

They will screw you Do NOT stay here. We checked in on June 29 due to the windstorm knocking out our power and putting a tree on our roof. . Upon checking we were quoted a price of about 89 dollars a night plus a 50 deposit since we were “local”. The front staff warned me that if I put the deposit on my card it could take two weeks to come off our account. We extended our stay a third night where I was told we would get the same rate. We then had to extend our stay another night. When we got the bill they had charged us HIGHER rates than was quoted by 10 to 30 dollars a night!!! Then when I checked my bank account I found that they had DOUBLE AUTHORIZED every charge and there was pending charges of over $1000!!!! Which, as you know, locks up your money! We now have 500$ locked away until those authorizations drop, which as I was told upon checkin, could take weeks!! When I went to discuss the charges I was met with blank stares and a oh our system does that we have no control over it. I got NO apology and NO adjustments. They were extremely rude and refused to honor the quote we were given upon check in and just blithely said oh rates always go up over the weekend. They claim they have no power over any of this, but as an employ of a hotel for five years I KNOW this is false. Not one front-desk employee there smiled the entire time we were there, and it was to the point that I felt guilty to bother them with our needs because they always seemed pissy. So please, don’t stay here unless you want to have purchases declined and checks bounced.

Disappointing for noise level Stayed in Room 226 just at open area to main level. Maintenance man has very loud voice & woke me very early in morning. Someone was in lobby till midnight previous night chatting, also loud voice & it echos into this room. Staff should understand to talk quietly when in this area. Otherwise decent hotel. Easy to find & great rates.
