The Library Room The room where we stayed was called - The Library. It was amazing!! The room has a little library corner with a couch and fireplace, a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower room. I could have stayed in the library corner for weeks - there is an extensive collection of books in the room. Some of the books were quite old. McCully House even has a guest pantry with all kinds of goodies and delicious coffee. I would recommend having some honey in the guest pantry for those who do not like to eat sugar. The hostess - Kathryn - who checked us in for our anniversary stay was so nice and helpful. I would love to stay much longer.

Old world charm with luxury and modern convenience After a day at Crater Lake it was fabulous to arrive at this beautiful property at take a luxurious hot shower and a rest on a big comfy bed. We were given a great welcome by a friendly woman (whose name I now forget sorry!). The room was just as shown on the website, well decorated with so much attention to detail (eg wine glasses and corkscrew in room). Down the corridor was a pantry with drinks and snacks (I had mentioned a special dietary requirement and indeed it was well catered for). We asked our hostess for restaurant recommendations and she had plenty of suggestions for both dinner and breakfast. The property is really central and it was easy to walk to the excellent restaurant and cafe we chose. Our regret? That we only stayed one night. This was the best value accommodation we stayed in on our tour as it actually delivered what it promised. Jacksonville, though small, is delightful and I feel I could have spent a day browsing the shops and sitting in the bars and cafes.

A holiday TimeTo remember McCully House Inn was incredible!!! We were met and checked in by Hanna. She was a wealth of knowledge on where to eat, shop and adventure. Thank you Hannah!!! The place was immaculate, classy, elegant, comfortable, and extremely comfortable! We will be back. Recently re opened with new owners and a high class remodel. I cannot wait till the bar and restaurant remodel is finished (soon I hear) and open

Jacksonville Trip We enjoyed our stay at the McCully Inn and Historic Downtown Jacksonville. The inn was charming, clean and had all the amenities we needed. I love the creaking of the wooden floors, and authenticity of this old mansion. The common area pantry had fresh fruit, snacks, oatmeal, etc., and a top-of-the-line commercial coffee maker, where you just press a button and can have hot chocolate, or an expresso. The bed was comfortable. We stayed in room 10 which faces the busier road, so we could hear the cars, which didn't bother me, but my husband might have preferred a room in the back of the inn. However, I loved it. We never heard or saw the other guests. We ate at La Fiesta, The Bella Union, and the outdoor wine tasting room all are about t a 5-minute walk from the Inn and very good. Visit the visitor center, for a trolley tour, and other events.

Fun Historical Property We spent one night in the Library room - wish we could have stayed longer! Very well appointed room with separate seating area surrounded by books and a fireplace (too warm to use). Amenities included a much appreciated mini fridge, soaking tub, excellent linens. In the evening we sat in chairs on the front lawn under a tree - very relaxing.
