Will Stay Here Again I spent a week in New York City with loads of sites to see. I've stayed at hotels in Manhattan that don't give easy access to your car, but I wanted somewhere this time that was close to the subway AND gave me convenient access to my car. This hotel was perfect for that with the on-site parking lot while also being just a short walk to the subway. The hotel itself was clean. The bed was fine. Breakfast was basic but absolutely fine and made it easy to fill up and get a quick start on the day. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in New York City.

Excellent Staff and Hospitality Staff was excellent, helping and quick to response. Breakfast was a bit issue, if you want to enjoy full menu than make sure to be at table early.

Fair play at Jamaica Inn Our family was stranded by a flight cancellation (along with about 110 other flights) on Sunday night returning to Buffalo. The hotel gave us 2 rooms on our credit card via expedia- Within about 20 minutes we were able to miraculously solve our car rental challenges that night instead of being stuck till am to finally find a car to drive to Buffalo- that wasn’t easy- we contacted the hotel immediately and tried to cancel our reservations but were told no cancellations were possible. We left contact info for the GM. I am afraid I have become one of those crusty old dudes when it comes to ethics, and fair play- I am old school- its easy to think there isn’t much of that left in the world of ADR & spreadsheets anymore. But Rey the GM was great...he completely understood and was very fair- he refunded our credit card in full- making a miserably long night a little less miserable So well done to Rey – for fair play- we will share our tale as we go- well done to BWH Group.

Great for a stay! The hotel was clean, our room was nice and just what we needed. Due to flight issues, my wife and I needed to stay an extra night in New York City and this hotel was a great affordable place to go near JFK airport.

Best Western Jamaica Inn, in Jamaica, New York, is a nice place This hotel is not in the center of New York City, as it is in Queens, in the district Jamaica. But that center in Manhattan can be easily and quickly reached from the hotel via the close Queens Boulevard or Subway (F line). As importantly, the neighborhood of the hotel is a quiet, clean and absolutely safe area with a lot of restaurants -- where one can enjoy Japanese, Thai, Colombian, Peruvian, Italian and other ethnic food. The hotel itself is a very well maintained, clean and quiet place with impeccably maintained rooms. Its breakfast service deserves mentioning, as it is taken care of professionally with always great and enough food.
