Will stay elsewhere next time. The hotel smells bad right away when you walk in. The room needs new carpet and updating. The pool area also needs some work. The grab bar to the hot tub is broke away from the cement floor which is a safety hazard because my grandson almost fell backwards into the hot tub. The water looked dirty. The motor that pushes the water down the slide must need to be replaced because it’s so loud you can’t hear anything else. The staff at the bar acted like it was a huge effort to wait on me at all and with a smile…. I soon realized that wasn’t going to happen.(Yes I did tip them) If it was busy I could understand but then again that's probably why they weren't busy on a Saturday Night. On the upside they do have a Good breakfast.

Would pick a different hotel This is now the Baymont by Wyndham, but would not stay here again. Hotel is under construction and it is in need of much repair/updates. While the room looked clean, the entire hotel felt unclean/run down. Breakfast left much to be desired as well.

Good pub grub on site, clean room, great breakfast, friendly staff. Definitely recommend. The lady at the reservation desk couldn’t have been nicer. She was extremely helpful, I wish I could remember her name. Gave us a great rate, first floor room due to my difficulty walking. The room was clean, pub grub handy, delicious and convenient. Breakfast was made to order from 4 choices or traditional continental breakfast. We had traveled 4300 miles round trip for a funeral of a dear friend and her compassion and kindness was very appreciated.

Greatly Improved! Our daughter and family live in Jamestown so we've stayed here many times over the years because the pool is such a great family activity. The quality of service, room cleanliness and staff morale have improved dramatically over the past four years - most likely attributed to new management. We look forward to staying again!

Something for everyone at a reasonable cost! I had a great stay one night on my way to Mn. It was pouring rain and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was the usual good quality I expect from the Choice hotel chain. But it has an on site small waterpark, bar and small menu grill. But the part I enjoyed the most was breakfast cooked to order. I would definitely stay there again. The cost was so reasonable.
