Perfect getaway This was the perfect location for a nice romantic getaway. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was great with quick access over to Newport. The restaurant had the best clam chowder and all the restaurants that we ate at all week long.

Can't wait to go back! This place is five star. Excellent. Very nice kept rooms, excellent service, excellent atmosphere with an absolutely killer view. The restaurant attached to the Inn is a must while visiting. The area is very quiet in Serene with lovely small fishing village to shop in and walk around.

Great accommodations in RI Jamestown is beautiful island to stay while visiting RI. I'm originally from RI and come up to New England every year. The Bay Voyage was comfortable and the staff was great. The restaurant, JB's on the Water, has seasonal and exceptional menu choices. We ate there 3 times and every item was delicious.

Abysmal wifi, forget working remotely Pros: LOVE the location and views, charming facility and friendly staff. Cons: Would stay here again except for the abysmal wifi which disconnected every 2 minutes—no exaggeration. We thought it was because we were on the 3rd floor but had the same problem when ‘upgrading’ to the faster wifi and moving to the 1st FL common room which we were told by staff was better. This problem is perplexing since we previously stayed 2 minutes up the street at the Wyndham Overlook for 1 week and had excellent uninterrupted wifi, so it’s the building, not the wifi provider. Come on Wyndham, in this era of remote work you haven’t figured out yet how to provide stable wifi at the Bay Voyage Inn, even though it’s flawless at your other property 2 minutes away? It’s common in multi-floor buildings to install two $50 wifi extending routers on every floor to extend the signal. When we shared our concerns with the front desk they kindly acknowledged others had similar concerns and that it’s been brought to Wyndham’s attention. Wyndham is frustrating and restricting those guests who may need to work remotely, who find themselves offering up the eyeroll inducing excuse that there’s lousy wifi in heavily touristed Rhode Island. Please consider spending $300 on wifi extending routers to resolve the issue and bump your ratings back up to a 5 where they belong.
