Americas Best Value Inn Jonesville Hillsdale

Excellent The American Best value Inn turned out to be very impressive , the Owners of this property Mr Jagdish Bhai and Mrs Seema ben took care of my son like family , My son viraj stayed in this Inn for more than 2 months as he was doing internship nearby. Worst room we have ever stayed in. Upon checking in, the office was cluttered with things, boxes, gas can of gas, etc.. The man that checked us in had on a durty old t shirt. Upon walking in the room it smelled real bad. Was not clean at all. I got rid of several bugs including a beetle that a group of ants were feasting on in the corner of the bathroom. The room, Bathroom, and furniture was very worn. Cigerette burns everywhere. The bed spread was very unclean.The area that the microwave oven sat in was full of oily dust. The carpet had a sticky feeling when you walked on it. The toilet was not clean between the lid and the bowl. We noticed the room had NO smoke or fire detectors and that room was not the only one. I know this because other family members staying in another room had none eather. The final straw was when a mouse ran across the head of the mattress in the morning with my wife and I laying there. We got up, got dressed, and got out. I will add we will never stay there again. I informed the office of this information and he told me Quote " You should have told me right away, I can not give you a refund now. Its to late" This place should be closed down!!!

Room Review Room still had someone else's dirty towels hanging in the shower, floor had ants, and was covered in someone else's long black hair that stuck to everything in the shower and bedroom, the bed sheets were covered in hair from someone else as though they had not been cleaned, and the floor looked as though it had not been swept or cleaned in months. Was covered in dead bugs and dust. The sheets have cigarette burns and stains on them. There is no breakfast as advertised. They double booked our rooms, and when we got back, they had actually hand packed up all of our belongings that were left in the room and moved them to another since they said that they didn't know if we were coming back......even though all of our stuff was still present and we weren't scheduled to check out until the following morning. We only stayed an extra night because they would not refund our money. Very disappointed. Communication was terrible. My phone number was on file, however they wouldn't call us to even ask us if we were okay moving rooms. Avoid at all costs and only stay here if you have to.

No longer dog-friendly I made a reservation to this motel based on the information on their own website that one could have a pet stay for an additional $15 a night. I also marked on they reservation that I needed a pet-friendly room. I booked two weeks before the stay. When I got there, I was told that they no longer accept pets. I complained and some calls were made. They had not changed their hotel information to reflect the change of policy, so they let us stay. Be advised that you cannot have pets at this place. Aside from this, it is a typical America's Best Value Inn. Old, run down. You get what you pay for, though.

Highly Disappointed :( Lousy value for the money! My wife and I spent two nights at this motel recently and we were highly disappointed with the quality and the service. The motel interior and rooms were very worn and in need of a complete renovation. Although the room doors sported a decal stating that they were non smoking, the room smelled heavily of smoke. The hotel staff member assured us that the rooms were non-smoking but I pointed out to him that both bed spreads had burn holes in them. The bathtub had been repaired previously for hole damage but the repairs were poorly done. The bathtub and sink were in serious need of caulking. The entire room was in need of an extensive renovation. The hotel staff members, (at least the two front desk people I dealt with), lacked customer service skills and behaved as if they were doing us a favor by responding to our queries. I would best describe the staff as disinterested, detached and lazy. No one checked the room after our first night, remade the bed or left fresh towels. The breakfast, (if there had ever been one) was suspended due to "COVID"...... The exterior of this fine establishment was as ramshackle as the interior. All in all a lousy value for the money. I would never consider staying there again, even if the room was offered at no cost. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. Spend a few extra dollars and you will rest much more comfortably.
