Bang for your buck Not a lot of perks but the price is right. Very clean which is the most important quality for me. Very pleasant staff. Had a free toothbrush to replace the one I left at home. Cracker Barrel right next door and chik fil an across highway. A very good experience.

Gross and in poor condition The room was so small. Paint missing around bathroom molding. I wish I had paid more for a better hotel. It was a nasty room. Don’t book this hotel cheap and crappy a total disaster loud road noise not worth the $79 only good thing was a dispensary in the parking lot

GROSS! Absolutely disgusting rooms! Stains and dirty sheets, broken toilet, bugs in the bed! DO NOT STAY HERE! Hotel refused to accept any sort of responsibility. I’ve showered 3 times since getting home and still feel gross. Please avoid this place at all costs!

Shabby and Lack of Basic Service We stayed at a Microtel in Grand Rapids, Michigan and it was awesome. The Microtel on Joplin is the opposite of awesome. We had to go to the front desk for towels and toilet paper. Shouldn’t they stock these in the room? Chair and seat cushion were stained and had burn marks. The non-smoking room across the hall was definitely smoking. Complementary breakfast consisted of a couple of bruised bananas, a loaf of bread, a few bagels, instant oatmeal’s packages and old looking cereal in those plastic dispensers and bad coffee. So I went to get a pop from the vending machine but it was broken. Finally, and importantly, our keys had to be reactivated twice, and they did not ask our names or for identification. They were happy to give us access to a room with no proof.

Joplin Very quiet…good for sleeping. No coffee machine or microwave, but both available in the lobby; I knew this going in. If that’s important to you, look for a different chain.
