William Made a Stressful Time Easy We had an unexpected landing in Juneau and this hotel was right across the street, so many of the people on the flight got in line to get a room. William was checking in multiple people at a time at the front desk and quickly got us all a room. It was a great experience checking in with his professionalism, patience, and friendliness that was very much welcome after a stressful flight!

Great customer service but the amenities or lecvv Customer service at Check in was fantastic. Sad that the pool has been broken for a long time now. Breakfast a little lighter on selection these days. Need a bigger selection of breakfast items. For the price of rooms it would be nice to see these amenities.

Negative Customer Experience Shauna, Well, you duped me in to staying at your hotel and I will never do that again. Let’s start at what you have on the internet and compare that to reality: Hotel Description Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including an indoor pool and a fitness center. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless internet access, barbecue grills, and a vending machine. A complimentary on-the-go breakfast is served daily from 6 AM to 9:30 AM. I was not able to enjoy the indoor pool. It has not been functional for a very long time. The fitness center was lacking important fitness options. Wireless was too slow for it to be usable, and you wanted to charge for an upgrade. I only found soda vending machines, not a snack one or even an ICE machine. The complimentary breakfast was nowhere to be found one day. An empty box of donuts the next day was available (picture for reference is attached). Today, there was 2 packets of oatmeal with a stack of dirty bowls. Not very inviting and a good reason to go somewhere else for breakfast. Get this off your descriptions of the hotel! Based on other things I have found you may want to add the following amenities: Drug addicts hanging around the front of the building smoking up under the front awning. Broken elevator at the beginning of my stay Funny smell in the hallway Lumpy Mattresses Door Keys that won’t stay programmed. Front desk people that don’t seem to like their job. Hoping someone is sitting by the front desk to let you in to register as the doors are locked 24/7 or you will be standing there for a while. I really hope you don’t run all your hotels this way. The positives were as follows: I could easily walk there from the airport. (This is something you and your employees didn’t do anything about) I am sure it is possible to run a budget hotel and make it a nice place to stay, you and your team don’t seem to be able to do that. While I am only visiting Juneau for work purposes maybe 3-4 weeks out of the year, I don’t think I will choose to stay here again.

Great place to stay I stay at this hotel every 6 weeks or so because of medical appointments. The staff is wonderful and most helpful in every way. They go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I recommend it to everyone.

Beware. Location has risks too. Be very cautious here. This hotel is ripe for theft. Happens frequently. It’s well known amongst Juneau’s homeless community as an easy mark. You are distracted checking in during a surge, or only there to catch an early flight with others. So with all these bags sitting around, it’s your luggage that gets stolen from the lobby. Cops can be called, but there’s not much time to investigate. You want to make the early flight, or cruise ship, not find your stuff. The homeless (seen on security camera) know this, as does night shift front desk, who couldn’t care less, perhaps even ‘buzzed’ the thief into the lobby from outside. Two stars for the Assistant Manager who provided a clean t-shirt for the flight home. Very sympathetic. What a way to end a vacation in Alaska. At least some unfortunate person is now walking around in more comfort sporting my goretex gear, $400 boots, and a few bucks from hawking souvenirs. Thankfully I’m insured and now experiencing the joy of post trip bureaucracy.
