Merely acceptable The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. On the other hand, the only wall electrical outlet near the beds was hidden behind a bed. Both beds had heavy headboards. The restaurant was closed. The exterior of the building needs maintenance. All in all, the Travelodge by Wyndham Juneau was at best merely acceptable.

Horrible front desk staff As with other reviews- horrible customer service. Very rude front desk people. No knowledge of how to check in properly. Lazy. Cleaning staff very nice. Rooms- old and dated. Not worth over $300 a night. Dirty. We didnt have a vanity in our room, no outlets, coffee maker on a shelf with no place to put or plug in. Carpet disgusting. Definitely stay somewhere else. Some rooms didnt even have screens.

Horrible customer service from most of the staff and unclean rooms When we called the night before to see if they had rooms available, we were quoted $215 a night so we made a reservation. When I called to talk to Tatiana, she said she made the reservation the next day at 920 am. We didn’t even talk to her. When talking to Tatiana, she was rude and swore she’s the one who made the reservation and their rates change daily and that the room was $300 and up and that our rate of $274 was a discounted rate for us! Even looking online, their rates start at $195 and up. When we checked in, the lady barely even spoke to us and was not nice at all. Even during the stay, she was not friendly. Not to mention, the room we stayed in smelled like pee so we had to leave our window open to air it out, the carpet was nasty and sticky in some areas. The service and quality of the hotel has gone way down over the years which is unfortunate.

Worst hotel stay ever The room smelled so strongly of cigarettes, I’m pregnant so this bothered me a lot. The shower did not drain so when I showered there was just a foot of water around my feet which is disgusting. There was a suspicious vehicle circling the parking lot and we were concerned about our vehicle getting broken into. They looked like they were casing the parking lot. There were literally 20+ long black hairs in the sheets. Would not recommend staying here. It’s very outdated and the whole building reeks of cigarette smoke.
