Fun for the Family I have great memories when I went as a kid with a group of friends. Since it’s indoors, it’s a great vacation option all year round and bad weather won’t ruin the trip. Great Wolf Lodge is a great safe option for families. There are areas for all ages with lifeguards throughout to keep everyone safe. My favorite parts are the giant water bucket that dumps a lot of water once it’s filled and the enclosed tunnel slides that go outside the building. Such a fun and budget friendly resort option without having to travel far!

We had fun At the end of the day, we enjoyed our stay and may do it again sometime. It is expensive and there seems to be an upcharge for everything. That said, we arrived at 11:00 and had access to the park. Even though they said the room would be available at 4:00, we received a text that our room was available at 12:30. The park is pretty small, yet our 6 year old had a blast and played until almost closing time. The wristbands were convenient, although it would be nice if you could remove them at night. I was worried about the oom after reading the reviews on here, but ours was quite nice. The dinner in the restaurant was quite good, as well.

Bigger disappointment than Season 8 - Game of Thrones. The Hotel is dated, smells terrible, rooms are musty and feel like staying in a locker room. The taxes and fees that get tacked on during the stay are insane. A two night stay during off-season weekend ended up costing more than $600. Parking? Extra $19/night. Transient guest tax 8%. IT'S A HOTEL. What do you think I'm here for?! State sales tax 9.125%. Wanna check out late? Sure, just $50...and another 8% transient guest tax...with another 9.125% state sales tax. Want to eat breakfast? Silly you. Not like paying hundreds per night gets you free breakfast. That will be another $50. DON'T FORGET THE TAX! But there's a whole water park attached to the hotel you say... A dated water park with slides closed down, many features broken and an overwhelming stench of body odor filling the stuff air. How's the food? Tasteless with a hint of food poisoning for you and the family...after you've shelled out $50 for 2 adults and 1 toddler to still be left hungry afterward. They also have an overpriced arcade with a bunch of out of order machines if you're into that, as well as $400+ in credit card holds...for TWO NIGHTS. Save your hard-earned money. Avoid this place like Michael avoids Toby from HR.

It serves its purpose, but at a price. This was our third stay at this location, and fifth stay overall at a Great Wolf Lodge. Why do we keep staying here? It’s a convenient way to book a stay and play vacation for kids. However, I feel we are aging out of it as a family and my kids aren’t even close to teenagers. It’s best to manage expectations if considering this resort. The good: - really everything you need in one place (food and entertainment for kids) - never had an issue with cleanliness - staff is friendly and helpful - easy check in process and app - the magiquest game is popular and gets kids active by sending them on a treasure hunt essentially The bad: - for the first time, the water throughout the park, with the exception of the hot tubs, was cold and unpleasant. It actually made me not want to get in and I never stayed longer than an hour or so at a time - hotel is dated and it shows. While overall I think the facility is well-maintained, there’s peeling wallpaper, rippled carpeting, and algae in the water park area - it’s pricey. Rooms are expensive for being an average hotel, but it gets you into the water park. The countless add-ons within the resort (food, arcade, “laser-tag”, mini golf, build-a-bear, magiquest, and food) will all add up quickly - MagiQuest game and interactive objects could use a refresh. Again, it shows its age - it gets boring after two days unless you have a bunch of money to burn through on the extras - parking is $19 a night The average: - rooms are standard, even the themed ones. Don’t expect luxury - water park area didn’t seem well staffed. I’m assuming they had the proper number of lifeguards, but staffing seemed light in general for how busy the water park was. Getting in and checking out towels is a pain when only one person is working it Overall, I think it’s a good choice for families with small children and parents with thick wallets or strong willpower because the resort is built for kids, waiting for parents to give into their every whim. We’ve made good memories here and the kids have enjoyed it, but it seems to have lost its luster for us. I wouldn’t want to spend more than two nights here.
