Gross, bed bugs and no consideration given. I “attempted” to stay here while stuck driving from Florida to Maryland. I checked in late and went to my room to find it disgusting. There was a half eaten pizza crust sitting in the corner and evidence of bed bugs (and dirt) on the sheets and mattress. Needless to say I went back to the front desk ASAP where they begged me not to leave a negative review and they offered me a change of room. The clerk tried to leave me standing in the cold (late check in window) to try and “check the room” which I refused due to the conditions I experienced. I tried to resolve the issue through Priceline where they refused a refund still as they stated the room was “clean”. Short story don’t stay here, no matter how desperate. They don't care about anything other than the ratings. I also contacted corporate and 36 hours later still not response so… here we are…

Consumers Beware - Bad Business Practice I needed to make a one-way drive from Florida to New Jersey and decided to make a reservation online. On Friday 2/23/24 12:52 AM I booked a one-night stay at Quality Inn Kenly I-95, 405 S Church Street, Kenly, North Carolina for March 1, 2024, through Hotels.Com. An emergency occurred that I would no longer be able to travel north on March 1. Therefore, on the following day, Saturday 2/24/24 7:40PM I called Hotels.Com to explain my situation and to cancel my booking. The representative from Hotels.Com put me on hold while he contacted the Quality Inn personnel however, when he returned to the call, he said the front desk person at Quality Inn told him that he couldn't honor the request to cancel my stay because they didn't have that authority and that Hotels.Com had to contact the manager the following Monday 2/26/24. A Hotel.Com rep sent me an email requesting more details about my reservation then on Monday 2/26/24 he replied to the Quality Inn who declined cancelling my booking therefore I lost the money I paid upfront. On Sunday 2/25/24 Hotels.Com sent me an email survey asking me to rate my experience - I have not completed the survey because I don't have a problem with Hotels.Com. The problem I have is with Quality Inn Kenly I-95 because they would not consider my unfortunate circumstance. Even if they would not honor my request for cancellation, the least they should have done is give me credit for another day/night or partial credit since I paid them in advance. I am writing this complaint on Tuesday 2/27 at 8:00PM to make awareness for other people so that they do not make the mistake I made reserving a stay at this Quality Inn in North Carolina. One more important keynote, after I booked the reservation, I looked at several a screen shot I had taken for the information shown on screen during my search and booking then noticed that Quality Inn hid a small line with a check box in which they requested that customers pay an additional $8 charge to have the option to make changes to the reservation. I do believe the deceit customers because two days before when I was researching for a hotel to stay in North Carolina Quality Inn did not have such charge to book a stay the same day on March 1st. I truly believe that their practice should be banned and reported to US Consumer Affairs. I intent to write a letter to US Consumer Affairs to make aware of it as well.

A excellent experience ! The first Day of our trip to Ft. Meyers, FL from Warwick, RI Jan., 2nd, 2024 We were greeted by the host, Ms. Brenda Viera. Brenda was kind, courteous and most accommodating. Brenda, signed us in and secured a down stairs double room. As it turns out Brenda had spent some of her life in Pawtucket, RI. A small world it is. Our stay was restful and most satisfying. Thank You, Brenda Viera From Rod Maloney, Warwick, RI
