Great place to stop & break up drive home. You need to book on line to get the best rate. As we were checking in desk asked guest to use internet for rate. Our room rate was actually reduced - as available room was a little cramped for space. We had no issues with queen bed with limited but sufficient space between walls. Clean room, comfortable bed, breakfast - all we needed for a stop to break up drive from Florida to home. Note this is north of Atlanta - so we did deal with Atlanta rush hour traffic in the rain. Trade off was easy last day of drive.

Decent for an Overnight Stay This was an overnight stay for both my mom and I on our way up to Nashville, Tennessee. The hotel served its purpose for our trip. It was clean, nice and conveniently located right off the interstate which made it easy for us to get back on the road. It did have complimentary breakfast in the morning which was helpful.

Made the reservation but forgot ID, but wife had her ID with same last name and address but would not give us the room! Stayed at other Comforts on this same trip with no problem. Very frustrating experience and even spoke with reservations specialist with no success because this hotel would not budge! We no longer want to do business with any Comfort because of this experience.

No room for you! I have been traveling for 40 years for business and never have had an experience like this. I made my reservation the day of my stay and the rate was nonrefundable, which I was aware of and accepted. I made the reservation with the Choice Hotel app on my phone. When I get to the hotel to check in there was no one at the front desk after a few moments I was greeted by S Lalan who seemed annoyed and wasn't in a very good mood. She asked for my ID and credit card. After she inspected my card she asked for the card I made the reservation with. I explained that I use a different credit card on my Choice Hotel app than the one I have with me in order to keep track of credit card fraud since I have had my cards compromised several time online. I have always done this with Choice Hotels and this is the first time this has ever happened and I have stayed at this property before with no problem. Ms. Lalan went on to tell me that I needed to produce the card I made the reservation with or have a permission slip to use that card. She seem to relent and said she would make an exception this one time then all of a sudden I felt like I was experiencing a moment from the Seinfeld episode where Elaine was denied soup. She said she wouldn't check me in without the original card. Keep in mind the rate was nonrefundable and the room was already paid for. She started waving the release form around, never showing it to me and raising her voice lecturing me on how I need to follow protocols like I was a child. Ultimately she said she would give me a room using the card on hand and the morning desk clerk would issue a refund. Apparently she only has so much authority. To add insult to injury she didn't even rebook me with my original rate. As far as the hotel itself goes the experience with S Lalan is 1 star the hotel 3 stars for cleanliness and a pathetic breakfast offering . Late in the week I called back to speak with the manager but was told by D Patel she didn't know if he would be in today, tomorrow, next week of next month, apparently an absentee manager. Later that evening I found out a guest shot the hotel clerk at a Choice property literally right around the corner. I can assure you my next trip I will not be staying here or in the neighborhood.

Unusual situation solved but decent hotel In town to judge the Pigs n Peaches BBQ festival. Arrived at the hotel only to be told they didn't have water and didn't know when they would. The city guys were outside working on it when we drove up. We went outside and called Choice Hotel Customer Service. They found us another hotel nearby and refunded our reward points. I went back inside to tell them we found another hotel nearby. That's when we were told they had water again. Back outside to talk to CH Customer Service again. They canceled the 2nd reservation so we could stay at the original hotel. All in all, Choice Customer Service did a fine job in dealing with this unusual situation with us quickly and efficiently and gave us 5000 extra points for our trouble. Throughout this whole ordeal,Gene at the front desk of the Comfort Inn was a hoot and quite helpful. Gene is a credit to the Comfort Inn hotel.
