Unexpected events The television kept freezing up, could not watch it!! There was a funny, damp smell on the left side of the bed, from the mattress or floor could not detect where even with spraying, using disinfectant and cleaners. Wall socket coming out behind bed( same side ) numerous stains on the curtain board. Not the type of accommodations expected from a Hilton brand. The breakfast lady was however awesome and the location is good !

Nope I came with my fiancé on a work trip. While he was in class I was in the hotel room by myself. Someone came and knocked on my door really hard and fast maybe six or seven times, almost seemed like it was a panic knock. Then the door opened. Luckily I had the door latch on so it stopped it from opening. I screamed and asked who it was with no answer and the door slammed shut. By the time I got up and looked out of the peep hole I couldn’t see anyone but I could hear them knocking on another door. I called front desk and told them. A man on the other end of the phone said he would figure out who it was. I never heard anything back. Next day when we checked out I told the front desk lady. She brushed me off and said that she didn’t know then she said it was probably housekeeping. I’ve worked at hotels before. I know you’re supposed to knock and announce your self at least 2-3 times before entering someone’s room. But to not announce yourself after being asked who you are is a big red flag. I did not feel safe there after the whole situation. And the fact that the front desk just blew me off without any kind of empathy is another red flag. I didn’t want a discount or anything I just wanted to be taken seriously and feel like they care about their customers safety. But I guess not, please be aware of your surroundings and trust no one. There are so many stories of sex trafficking happening at these hotels and something tells me that they know something and that’s why she didn’t take me seriously and I never heard back from the guy over the phone. Please be safe!

Old hotel, hard beds My wife and I booked a reservation to stay here May 7 - 10 (room 125) for our son's graduation at KSU. Having weeks earlier had an excellent stay at Hampton Inn & Suites in Braselton GA, we had high hopes for this location as well. Unfortunately though, this location is significantly older than the Braselton location and our room showed it. The room itself was dark, dank, and musty, enough so that both my wife and I felt congested just being in the room. We even noticed a dime-sized area of what appeared to be black mold on the ceiling above the shower head. But the worst part was the hard-as-a-rock bed with sloped edges, which we didn't notice until bedtime. This all made for a very uncomfortable and restless night with little sleep. When I got up in the morning, my back and shoulders just ached from that hard bed. I grabbed a cup of coffee in the breakfast area (which was warm, at best) and reported the bed issue to the front desk. Though they were somewhat apologetic, there apparently wasn't anything they could do to make things better. All of the rooms (I was told) have the same mattress type. Therefore, I informed them that I would have to go elsewhere for the remaining evenings as there was no way I would attempt to sleep on that bed again. I also made it clear to them that this was a big inconvenience for us not to mention a big risk as many of the surrounding hotels were all booked for graduation. They could have cared less. They deducted about $50 from my bill for my troubles, but I still ended up paying around $120 for the room that night. So much for the Hampton "guarantee"! Thankfully, we found a great room over at the nearby Home2 (also a Hilton property) at the same price. That place is very new, has comfortable beds, and is quite clean as well. My only regret is that we didn't start our trip at Home2. I for one will never visit this Hampton again -- there are much better alternatives, even within the Hilton family of hotels.

Wonderful location, clean hotel, friendly service My family and I stopped here on a road trip to Florida and we were very happy with our experience. We were greeted upon arrival by a super friendly employee at the front desk that offered the kids warm chocolate chip cookies, and checked us in promptly and politely. Breakfast the next morning was great; waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, biscuits, sausage, etc.. were available to eat. The hotel itself is right off the highway, and there is a Target within walking distance, and plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby as well. Everything was neat and clean as well. A great experience!
