DO NOT STAY HERE The best way I can sum up our impression of this establishment is “HORROR FILM SET COME TO LIFE”. We have done our fair bit of traveling and stayed in many hotels, motels, inns etc. Never before have we set foot in such a disgusting, filthy, and unsafe place. On arrival in the parking lot we immediately saw several groups of incredibly sketchy looking, lurching characters. The front desk staff was pleasant enough, if incredibly slow. Charmingly, as we waited through the long check-in, we saw several obvious prostitutes completing their transactions and coming and going. With trepidation, we walked down the dark, dirty hallway past several cracked doors with leering faces to the room we were given, and the moment we stepped in we knew we had made a grave mistake. The room had the most indescribably nasty smell and was dark with dim lamps and no ceiling fixture. The smoke detector had been ripped off the ceiling and several holes (why?!) had been carelessly patched in the walls without being painted. The bathroom was beyond disgusting…so much grime on the floor and up the skirting board I don’t think it’s ever been seen a sponge or mop in its existence, orange spots on the towels, a completely empty tissue box, one roll of toilet paper sitting on the counter because the holder was broken. The sheets on the bed were mismatched and looked like they had been re-made but certainly not cleaned - there were brown smears of unknown origin across the sheets. Barf. We did not want to investigate further. We were so horrified by the state of this revolting room that we could not imagine it would be safe in any way to proceed with our stay. It was unthinkable even to sit on the bed, let alone imagine trying to sleep there, breathing in the toxic stench. We quickly gathered up our things and beat a hasty retreat, but….wait…the helpful drug addicts using in the stairway informed us the fire exits to the parking lot are LOCKED and you can’t get out the doors?! We can only assume it’s to prevent even more unsavory characters from sneaking in, but talk about a(nother) safety hazard. And this joyous discovery also made us have to retrace our steps aaaalll the way back down the hallway from The Shining to escape this hotel from hell. **DO NOT STAY HERE. You’d be safer sleeping literally anywhere else. Quality Inn, my aunt fanny. Negative 1000 stars!

Hideous Property - Avoid I'm retired airline pilot with literally thousands of hotel stay experiences. This was one of the worst ever. Hotel overall is rundown with carpets, wall coverings, furniture, and fixtures broken, torn, or missing. The room was filthy including, but not limited to, trash, food scraps, and general filth everywhere. Worst of all the drapes - ALL the drapes - were splattered with either liquid food remnants or vomit. An appeal was made to hotel manager for a rate adjustment based on condition, but this was ignored. Hideous property.

Run as fast as you can!!! First Off....The parking lot should speak for itself. We got there and there were broken down cars and there homeless people all over the parking lot. I went to leave and a cop car pulled in. Next, we went in and it took about 30 minutes to get checked in and then they tell us there will be a $100.00 deposit on the room....okay I get it, we had to use the restroom after a long drive and the restroom by the lobby was out of order....we start to walk up the stairs to our room and the carpet is black and filthy....get to the hall way and I think I got high just from the smell of marijuana in the hall way, there was a lady smoking a cigarette in the hall way, kids running and screaming at in the hall way @ 11:00pm, We had a 2 year old with us, tried to call the front desk , from my cell phone because the hotel phone did not work...and of course they did not answer..then to top off the whole crappy experience....we go out to the truck and our license plates were stolen off of it....they tell me they do not have cameras that can reach that far!!

Terrible experience at the Meeker St Choice hotel in Kent Washington Do not book or stay here. I booked a suite room for my daughter and I for 3 nights. During the day, the hotel called and said our room wasn’t available, even though we booked months in advance. They said they would substitute a different room. We were traveling, so we said ok. We arrived late afternoon. The parking lot is rutted and filthy. The lobby was dirty. There was no one at the desk to check us in! We called out, no awnser. We waited between 10 and 15 minutes. No employee ever came. We left the lobby and immediately called them. No answer. We called Choice hotels to cancel our stay, since we couldn’t even get checked in. After 90 minutes on the phone, they finally said they would cancel the following two nights of the stay, but we had to pay for the first night! Gee thanks. Total fail Choice hotels. It took them a week to issue a refund to my card.
