great place! Stayed here during an overnight in Sun Valley- great stay! We wish we had longer. The room was nice and spacious, with the sink outside the bathroom, and plenty of hooks and closet space to hang everything. It was also clean and quiet. There was a small balcony with a sitting area and we would've loved to have more time to enjoy this. The staff was helpful and you can text with them prior to check in- they helped us find some hikes in the area based on what we were looking for. We were able to enjoy the hot tub as well. Just watch out for the ice machine- its hidden in a room downstairs with a step that isn't marked and we both tripped on it. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area!

Meh. Expensive motel room with not so great amenities. This is really an old motel that has been updated with new carpet and beds. The bones are still old. Pool and spa area are really tired. And it sounds like our upstairs neighbor is about to fall through the ceiling. Get a top floor if you’re a light sleeper. And for $300, there’s no coffee or breakfast. Mediocre spot.

Excellent Location, Very clean rooms Property is a bit dated, walls are a touch thin but it is in a great location within walking distance of all of Ketchum and just a mile from Sun Valley proper. They do a great job of keeping parking clear for customers although it can get a bit tight. Beds are very comfortable. A very clean "70's" style room and bathroom. Remember it is Sun Valley so the price is going to sting a bit.

Convenient location - great for family reunions We stayed at the Tamarack Lodge recently for a wedding. Many family members were also staying and the courtyard was a great way to relax and connect. It's a very reasonable cost and convenient location.

Favorite Place to Stay in Ketchum My husband and I just spent 2 weeks at The Tamarack Lodge and had a great time! First, the location can’t be beat as we could walk to all of our favorite restaurants and the buses to the slopes are close by. Second, our room was cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed our fireplace every night. Third, there is a hot tub and heated pool! Fourth, if you have a dog, they can stay there too, as they are dog friendly. Fifth, and really important, is that the staff are friendly, helpful and kind. They are just the best. This is the sixth time we have stayed at the Tamarack Lodge and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
