Ambrosia for the soul We had 3 nights here & it was not enough. The place is beautifully tropical & extremely well situated in Old Town. We stayed in the Jungle Room, which was superb with its own terrace with beds, sofa & dining table, it also had access to a pool with jets. It felt very secure with gate and personalised door codes. Parking was available at a cost, which was handy. The staff at Ambrosia were very helpful and pointed us first timers to all the places to visit and things to do. Rooms were very clean & having breakfast (with some variety) much appreciated. My wife hasn’t told me how much our stay cost, but I’d say we got vfm!

Great location, some opportunities for improvement. Great location and KW vibe. Beautiful gardens. Not the warmest staff. Room clean but needs updating incl all bath fixtures which had decay! Shower not cleaned daily. One teeny weeny bottle of lotion provided, bring your own. Breakfast similar to a Residence Inn but no fresh waffles. No decaf, preprocessed, not fresh eggs, slimy bacon, frozen pancakes, etc. - they could do better. Fresh cut fruit was good. We went down the street for an incredible breakfast one day because breakfast was so underwhelming. Needs to be a totally no-smoking property inside and out as chain smokers on the first level shared their smoke with anyone having breakfast or near the pool. They could walk to the sidewalk to smoke. Not sure if we would return but the location was excellent and sometimes that and just being clean are enough.

Highly recommend!! Great location. Clean spacious rooms. Tropical courtyard area with two pools. Full breakfast including eggs, omelets, sausage, breads, fruit, etc. And the staff goes out of their way to make sure that I had everything I need to make my stay perfect. I highly recommend this place.

Nice, But Not Great. Tranquill, beautiful property. I like you can rent bikes on site and that they provide a hot breakfast buffet ( not until 8:30 am though, so be aware if you like to eat earlier - like we did and wanted ) The front desk lady ( the one not wearing glasses) wasn't very warm or welcoming or even helpful. All business, no warm greeting or even a smile. She gave us a hard time about the parking issue we inquired about and didn't seem to care when we mentioned how the backroom AC wasn't working well. We had to turn the unit on High and set it to 60 and it still wouldn't blow cold - unlike the front room which was very cold. Made it difficult to sleep in a warm room. Staff didn't seem to care about that though. The TVs are outdated ( yes, we're not there to watch TV, but at night before sleep or before going out, it's nice to have) TV is so small and the image doesn't fit the screen. Needs an update. The lock on the gate to enter the property was never locked - despite being given a code. No matter how early or how late, the door to enter the property was always unlocked and it made some of us feel unsafe. Other than that, it was an okay, pleasant stay. I'm sure they receive return guests, but I think we'll look somewhere else next time. We paid way too much for this experience.

Great location, friendly staff The room was very comfortable and a nice size. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful on what to do. The best part was the location we parked our car and didn't move it the entire time we were there, which is a big plus since parking in Key West is a challenge, we could walk anywhere we wanted to go, so it's very centrally located. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy just a regular continental breakfast
