Heron House Court - Adult Only

SO HAPPY AND PLEASED,,WE WILL BE BACK TO STAY THERE AGAIN Me and my girlfriend couldn't have been more happier with our experience at the heron house court...We got there before check in and was greeted by Roman (The most awesome, accomidating person ever).. He held our luggage for us so we could start our vacation till our room was ready. When we came back to the room we were very satisfied with how clean and comfortable it was.. we stayed there for three nights and had such a great time I will recommend this place to anybody that goes to key west ..you will not be disappointed.

Wish we could have stayed longer. We loved Heron House Court. One of the comfiest beds we have ever slept in. Nice patio outside our room. Had breakfast out there. Super friendly service. Felt very comfortable. Our favorite place. Close to everything. Wish we could have stayed longer._

Great Concierge staff and location, location, location! On a prior trip we stayed at a condo by Smithers Beach . This time I went with a few friends and we wanted to stay closer to Duvall and the action and we wanted to find rooms at less than 400 a night . We had a 5 night stay and it was awesome. The desk staff and concierges Louis and Roman were so helpful in helping to find parking and making suggestions . Breakfast was included in the resort fee and it was nice - boiled eggs, ham, cheese , muffins, bagels and fruit . The location is awesome and you can walk to the waterfront and Duvall. I had room 105 which was nice but small . My friends had room 116 with sitting area on first level and bedroom on second. Every day we hung out at pool. Second floor deck is clothing optional if you want to get a great tan sans clothes ( wasn’t anyone doing this while we were there ). Bathrooms were a bit dated but this wasn’t a huge thing .

Management did not care, stay somewhere else or sleep in your car. Mold in bathroom and shower curtain, broken fixtures, handles falling off, broken toilet seat, peeling paint, part-time working toilet, , doors and walls and floor filthy dirty, stains on bedding, broken tile, Lamp shades and fan were dirty, Headboard was un-attached and did not fit the bed, barely functioning air conditioning, pool full of debris, no clean plates or service for breakfast, this is a worn out and broken property. Do yourself a favor and stay someplace else.

A Great place to stay We recently stayed at Heron House Court for 3 nights. We picked it because the price was reasonable compared to others in downtown area, was handy to Key West Express docking and close to Duval Street,also it had good ratings. So glad we did! The building built in the early 1900s has the charm of an older building, but amenities and upkeep of a new one. The building has been well loved and cared for. Roman, the desk clerk and man in charge was a big help. He arranged for us to have a golf cart for our use and was available for anything needed. He even made a special trip out one morning on his bicycle to get us bottled water! The continental breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, (although the pillows are past their prime) storage areas adequate, and porch access great. The hotel is away far enough from the party revelers to be quiet and in a very safe area. They have front porch decks on the first and second floor, a sun deck on the back and an area around their heated pool.
