Im being extra kind giving 3 stars! This hotel has a lot of potential. Lets start with the positives... Its a great location. Just a 10 min drive into Kings Lynn. We booked it for a concert at Sandringham- so location was perfect! We stayed 3 nights, and on arrival I was very pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room. We stayed in the Vancouver Room. It was more like a suite. Comfy king size bed. A large family bathroom with double shower and a bath. We were on the ground floor. It was quiet and not overlooked. We had a nice view of the gardens. There was also an iron and ironing board, as well as a fan in our room. Breakfast was basic but okay. The negatives... Unfortunately on closer inspection, I soon realised that the cleanliness of this hotel was very poor. There was a stain on my daughters sheet, and crumbs next to the bed. There was dust on the skirting boards, as well as dust and crumbs on the back chairs of the restaurant. They seem to do a quick surface clean, but nothing more. I did mention to the girl on reception who was very nice and did deal with the issue, however the hotel doesn't seem to have any cleaners which I found to be strange. It seems the receptionist does other jobs too.If you want your room cleaning- you have to ask. Cleanliness and hygiene doesn't seem to be a priority here. This is where they let themselves down. On the second night my daughter noticed a toe nail stuck to the bed throw. I was almost sick! I threw the throw on the floor, then my daughter noticed more toe nail clippings under the bed. This made me really uncomfortable. On the final day we got ready and checked out early. I noticed the carpet in the hallway hadn't been hoovered the whole time. There was food all over the floor up to the door where you enter the rooms. That door frame and door was disgusting! A breeding ground for germs. I was glad to leave in the end, and unfortunately due to their very low standards in cleanliness, I wouldn't return. Its a shame because this hotel has the potential to be excellent but they clearly don't have the same values. Someone could get very ill if they don't give the place a deep clean. Its a cause for concern. My 3 stars is purely for the location, size of room and the amenities in the room. Its a great room, just needs a deep clean, as does the whole hotel.I hope they take note and do something about it. My husband payed a lot of money too stay here and it ended up a disappointment.I couldn't wait to leave in the end.

FINED TO USE A TESLA CHARGER Stopped to charge my Tesla. I have never been charged before to park in addition to paying for charging. Its clear that the signage is not fit for purpose as there are many others being fined through no fault or intention. This really does feel like a scam and will get your hotel lots of bad reviews. I can easily prove I paid to charge and this is legit. Do you not wave the cost in this circumstance?

Reasonable price, good food and accommodation. Value for money Booked this via a Groupon 2 night break, so didn't necessarily expect too much, however was very surprised at the outcome, especially upon looking on Google Maps to see that the Hotel is on an Industrial Park. However, the entrance to Dragonfly is immediately on the entrance to the commercial park. It had a really nice sweeping driveway entrance which actually put the Hotel quite a distance away from the main drag and Hub itself. Very nicely laid out gardens, driveway, Parking and entrance. We were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who checked us in, explained the dining and breakfast times and guided us to our room 119. This was on the ground floor and to the rear of the building. Nicely decorated corridors en-route, as was our accommodation, clean tidy, tea/coffee making facilities, and a really nice bathroom with shower and all necessary soaps and shampoo. Diining room was clean and neat nicely decorated once again, with helpful friendly staff on hand to guide and assist. Beds were comfortable, albeit a little too soft a mattress for my particular liking, however those things are a matter of individual taste, so no complaints there. Breakfast was self service, but there was a good selection of cereals for starters, then the usual egg, bacon, sausage, beans, which were in glass topped heated containers, with bread and a toaster together with a selection of jams, honey and marmalade. Very nice Overall, we couldn't fault the establishment and staff, no, not the Ritz, but then again NOT the Ritz prices. Will happily go back again in the future.

Not enough storage space in room. Staff polite.Room was clean looked as if it had a refit but who did the refit didn't think about people using the room as mirror was three feet away from electric socket so you could not see to dry hair.if you want to charge your phone the points are under a shelf six inches from floor so if you have a bad back no chance.no notice of where the assembly point is in case of a fire.To many foreigners hanging about outside hotel made you feel uncomfortable.
