Pet friendly and still very clean The staff was very friendly, the room and lobby were very clean, and they had a very nice continental breakfast. I have found that pet friendly hotels generally are not as clean as others but this one was very clean

Many issues at this hotel…….None were addressed Many issues were not addressed …..Strong smell in hallway, breakfast area not attended too after communication with front desk, outside front hotel area dirty, you could get on the elevator from your floor, but after arriving at main level you were blocked by a ladder and a large puddle of water, tv and internet not working, closing room door loud (will wake you up at night), front staff did not follow up on certain issues. Would not recommend a stay at this hotel.

Average budget hotel This hotel is a regular stop for us on a cross country trip we take every year or two. It used to be really nice (for a La Quinta) but it has really gone downhill over the years. It’s like shabby chic without the chic. Wallpaper is peeling. Dings and chips all throughout the hallways and rooms. Cleanliness is questionable. Shower was nice and hot but felt like you were showering at a Motel 4 (yes a motel 4 not a motel 6 _). Only bright side I can really say is beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable. Oh and it’s easy to stay there with our dogs. Even with all the shabbiness I’d still rather stay here than Motel 6.

Great Night Stay We had a great nights stay at the LaQuinta in Kingsport Tricities. Check in went smooth and breakfast was good. Gavin was very helpful at breakfast when my mom could not figure out how to operate their toaster and when I came back down looking for ice. It is not every day you come across someone that actually seems genuinely pleased and happy to be there. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and pleasant as well.

Over night two different trips Very pet friendly was traveling with a cat and a dog. Rooms (2 separate nights) were neat however roaches in the bathroom when I turned on the lights the first visit. I let the front desk know. Clean breakfast bar really nice helpful staff. Cracker Barrel next door and two good gas stations. Very close to exit on I 81. I felt safe.
