Super 8 by Wyndham Kingston

Excellent Weekend Getaway My husband and I made a last minute decision to go to TN for the 127 Route Sale. We decided on the Super 8 in Kingston as it got good reviews and it had a reasonable pet fee. The gentleman that checked us in was really nice and made check in as smooth as possible. The room was clean and quiet. They have a container vegetable garden on site which is neat to see as well. The lobby area is more like walking into a family members dining area its very cute the way it is set up. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again in the future.

Cute place!! The lobby was so adorable. That’s a first for a super 8. The gentleman at the front desk was so courteous when we arrived for check-in and made us feel so welcomed at the establishment.

Comfortable Beds Staff is friendly, beds are comfortable, and the shower is hot. The cleanliness of the room/bathroom could be improved but it was fine for just one night.

Review Best out of available for location. Bed was not the greatest and they had just mopped the room and it smelled like bleach. Excellent that it was clean but same all was very strong.

Worst stay ever Our stay was absolutely miserable! Whoever was working the front desk at 1pm on 6-13-24 was completely unprofessional. She wouldn’t get off her phone to give us her full attention to begin with when we stopped at 12:30 to see if there was a possibility for early check in. Then when we came back at 1pm as instructed by her to check in, she was very rude and unprofessional yet again. She wouldn’t take our discount code from our employer. When asked why, she stated and I quote. Because she simply didn’t know how to put the discount into the computer. Also, I called after I made our reservation online on March 29th to ensure that it was correct and the manager at that time reassured me our reservation was correct and that we would have our 2 rooms right next to each other. At check in, the very unprofessional woman who checked us in stated that our rooms wouldn’t be next to each other and there was nothing she could do about it. Then I asked to speak with the manager and she was then magically able to get us rooms next to each other. We then unpacked and started to get settled into our rooms after driving for 600 miles to find that each bed only had 2 pillows and the towels that were in our bathroom of BOTH rooms had very nasty stains! There was also only two bath towels in each double queen room. Needless to say, we will never be staying at this hotel ever again! Will also be sharing our experience with all of our travel companions for they never have to experience any of this for themselves and I will also be sharing this on every online platform that I can to ensure some changes are actually made at this establishment in the future. Extremely dissatisfied and wish we could get our money back. Would of found somewhere else to stay if we weren’t all so tired from our drive.
