Luxury on lake Washington Beautiful hotel on the east side of Lake Washington. Been staying here for years including the Woodmark holding our daughter’s wedding reception. Two restaurants within steps of the hotel. Clean lovely rooms. Only 2 complaints - 1 is there is no bar/lounge in the hotel- there used to be one pre- Covid but it is now space used for banquet department. -and 2- I’ve probably stayed at The Woodmark over 15 times including UW graduations, a huge wedding reception and multiple other events but I am asked every time I check in, “ welcome to the Woodmark. Is this your first time staying with us”? _‍♀️ Stay in a room with a balcony- worth the extra $. Quiet, gorgeous- great location.

Exorbitant Fees! As others have stated the taxes and fees are exorbitant; $25 to self park, $25 resort fee, $43 hotel tax. Definitely nickel and dimed the entire stay. Placing a $400 hold on my card for "incidentals' on top of this was a surprise - I'll never stay here again.

Breathtaking Location at The Woodmark, But Housekeeping Needs Improvement The Woodmark Hotel boasts a truly stunning location right on Lake Washington. Our room had beautiful views of the water, and we loved waking up to the fresh lake breeze every morning. The firepits down by the dock were a lovely touch, and we enjoyed relaxing there in the evenings. However, we were disappointed with the housekeeping service during our 3-night stay. Despite requesting our room to be cleaned on the second day, we returned to find it untouched. We contacted the front desk, and while they were apologetic and offered to send someone up right away, however nobody ever arrived. This occured both days during our visit. Overall, The Woodmark has the potential to be an exceptional hotel. The location is truly unbeatable, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. However, the housekeeping issue definitely detracted from our experience. If clean rooms are a priority for you, you might want to consider contacting the hotel in advance to confirm housekeeping procedures.

Beautiful location & hotel Beautiful hotel on the lake a cab ride into Seattle Beautifully appointed … strange no bar in the hotel _ however the Mexican restaurant/bar next door was excellent…there was on one day a pop up bar which was lovely to take some drinks to the beautiful outdoor area All staff very nice and helpful

Great spot, thanks Mickaël ! We spent only one night in this hotel, and sincerely regret that our stay couldn’t last longer ! We received a great welcome from Michael at the front desk who perfectly understood our needs and managed to get us an early check-in by prioritizing the cleaning of our double bed with the lake view. The day before we had received a quick answer by mail from Keith telling us they do their best to accommodate us. This is good service and is nowadays something rare. We also very much appreciated the quality of the bathing products and the overall surgical cleanliness. We did not have the chance to try theirs surrounding restaurants but heard that they were great. For those who like fitness, the gym is kinda hard to find but it’s a good one, and there is also a path close to the hotel for those who’d like to do a running session.
