Nice and comfy We love the new hotel as it's refurbished. Still needs to fix some details but it's better than last year. Now is more expensive. It's close to a taco bell and you can get the public bus just at the corner to go to Disney.

Security Deposit I checked into Motel for a weeks stay for business. Upon checkin the motel took a 50$ cash security deposit. When I checked out at 4am to drive back to Canada I put the keys in the drop box. Once back in Canada I realized I didn't get my security deposit back because it was 4am when I checked out. Spoke to Tim and told him I would be back in florida in a few months and he said contact and speak to Carmen. Jump ahead 3 months ( not 3 yrs) and I pull into the hotel (just arrived back to florida) and spoke to Tim about it. He told me to contact Carmen. Called and talked to her today and she said that after 1 month it is considered lost & found and they don't return deposits. I told her I'm sure they would not have put cash in the mail to me and send to Canada either way. I told her she could look up my reservation to see this. She told me the deposit is considered lost and found money, my deposit would have been shared with housekeeping staff. I am doubting that one. She said if I returned in the future they wouldn't charge me a deposit again or would discount me and take care of me. I really think they should have offered to take care of me now, that's just good business. I was also not told until today about the 1 month limit of returning my deposit. She told me many people forget and leave their deposit. I guess they need the 50$ more than the return business. Too bad I won't be returning now just based on principle alone.

MASK POLICE/ ROOM CLEANLINESS/ BAD SERVICE could have a mask until we get our door open- SHE REFUSED- last night we came in- they had a box of them. I don’t even feel comfortable talking to her about the room cleanliness because, she won’t listen… She needs to Listen to her guests before asking “hey if you can while you are in the lobby PLEASE put a mask on.” SHE DIDNT EVEN SAY PLEASE and THANK YOU! That would have been totally fine!! But we wanted breakfast and locked out of our room- it was a terrible morning to start! I just wanted coffee… Thanks to her poor attitude and customer service- it upset me that much to leave a review… We will be thinking of our Hotel Choices next time! BTW: the gentlemen last night working the front desk- was HELPFUL- he offered us a mask and was polite! Props to him 10/09/21, keep that one and have him train the lady from this morning of 10/10/21. Please clean the hotel rooms a little better- there are Residue marks all over the bathroom wall, door and tub. The mirrors were not wiped down- still see toothpaste splatter all over the sink and mirror. The closet has residue all over it also. It’s everywhere! We walked in the room IT WAS SO HOT! The AC wasn’t on took an hour to get cool in here! The fridge and microwave was unplugged so I prayed my food wouldn’t go bad! There was BLOOD on my BED SHEETS! Please pay attention next time to cleanliness opportunity’s.. I would have told this to the lady and not left a review- but I didn’t feel comfortable as she wouldn’t listen…

Not worth the cheap price Pros first: price and location. Night check in guy was very friendly and helpful Cons: almost 3 star, but the morning reception lady was kinda rude so need to drop one. Very dated, and can't even say quaint. There was a spot on sheet that look like blood when we pulled off cover. When got to room at end of night, it was hot AF because AC was completely off. Because of the cheap price, definitely attracts rough crowd. Several fights outside in middle of night. Some shirtless guy arguing with his baby mama running around with toddler in arms at 3am. She was screaming at him about something. So I'm all about a deal, but this was too rough for me. Oh, and breakfast is just a bunch of dollar store "little debbie" type packaged snacks. You get what you pay for, but thought it was worth a gamble with mostly positive reviews. But not a lot of recent ones.
