Unsatisfied couple Problems from the start. Was not told about having to have a deposit. This place is under renovation and the room we got stunk. Was suppose to have a room with king bed got a room with two double beds. Was not happy and will not be staying with them again.

Roaches & no refund I had a reservation at this hotel on March 31st. After a very long ride we checked into room 111 and found it to be in very bad shape and dirty. Carpet ripped up, stains, bathroom caulk was black, paint scratched up...I went to the front desk to ask about a room change and was assigned to room 203. At first glance the room looked much better and we relocated. Within 10 minutes of being in this room I saw bugs in the bathroom, I had to use google and was able to identify them as juvenile roaches. As my family stood there in shock, we saw at least 5 more juvenile roaches. If this was with the lights on, I can only imagine when the lights went off. We promptly checked out of this hotel and unfortunately I have yet to receive a refund. I have stayed at many Country Inn & Suites over the years and have never seen one in such terrible condition. I also have not been refunded and will not stay at any Choice hotels again after this experience. (will not allow me to attach pics of the bugs but I have them)

Adequate But No More I would call the motel adequate but no more. It was clean and safe plus has a lower rate than many others. That being said, it looks like the owner has allowed even small repairs to go undone and does nothing to improve the drab appearance or comfort of the place. I would rate the amenities as poor and done very much on the cheap. If you not concerned with spending a few extra dollars, I would go elsewhere and not recommend staying here.

property is not as described in service or amenities. The description for this property does not match what is implied by the listing. The pool is Closed, indefinitely. We were told the heater is out and too expensive to fix. The website still includes this as an amenity. The staff all appeared indifferent in any exchange, not customer service inclined. No one was ever wearing a shirt or uniform that looked like an employee. They were never professionally dressed or had name tags. The decor is very drab and grey. Lobby is dreadfully uninviting. The room had no hangers. When we asked, we were told they don't provide hangers anymore. An employee found a few in the office. There was no remote control, had to go back to the front desk to get one. In the morning, no hair dryer, back to the front desk. Breakfast was adequate, the same every day. Cereal, the waffle station, apples, bread, oatmeal, sausage, egg rounds, biscuits, a few yogurts. No bananas, no English muffins, no bagels, no alternate items. Juices and coffee, NO tea. I asked. "Maybe the manager will bring some today". We got the standard, "How is your visit" text. We replied with these concerns. Response was "Someone from the management team will contact you soon". Have not heard from anyone. I could not find a way to communicate these concerns to Country Inn Radisson through their sites. Location is good, next to interstate. Seemed safe enough. If you have very low expectations, this is OK. We had stayed at a Country Inn in Asheville and it was so much better. We expected similar experience in Knoxville.
