Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Knoxville West-Cedar Bluff

The Owners Purchased The Rodeway Inn Next Door And It Needs Work! I have NO idea why they tore down the Red Roof on Advantage Place. The rooms were satisfactory. Now they have a huge remodeling task before them. The room that I stayed in needed a lot of upgrades before I would stay there again.

It was decent - I'd stay here again, especially for the price =) The room was pretty clean overall. We got a smoking room even though neither of us smoke indoors and it was still clean and didn't smell horrible. The staff was friendly and they accepted our pet which was nice! We didn't notice any weird activity going on anywhere and it was quiet. Bed was pretty comfy and they even let us check out an hour later than normal. I don't have anything bad to say. This is your typical one night stay hotel and it was clean - I was satisfied and would stay again.

Disaapointing I've stayed here many times before and it is a great location, but, they have let this place go and it needs major attention. The grounds are dirty, weeds everywhere, garbage laying around in the parking lot and by the dumpster. Dead trees need to be cut down. The rooms are ok, but there are little things wrong. There are many outdoor lights not working and rotten wood on the walkways. I don't know if I will return.

Little better then average hotel Had a coupon so got the room for 52.05 for 2 adults on a weekday. Overall is a above average hotel. Smaller then most red roofs comfy beds, free WiFi, lots of channels. free long distance calling in the us. Really the only bad thing about this hotel is there is no microwave or fridge in the rooms. I would recommend to anyone and if I'm ever in this area again would probably stay here again too.

Ewwww..... I'm a Redi-Member for Red Roof Inn since we travel with our dog on road trips from Chicago to Florida often. I'm usually pleased with the Red Roof locations. This may be my first bad review...but worth it. I called and got the location as we were driving through for the next Red Roof through the 1-800#. I paid for an upgraded room to the tune of about $65.00 or so. It was non-refundable or else me and my my family would have turned around. There were a lot of people on the walkways smoking/drinking/partying. It was loud. When we got up to our room it was gross. Smelled like cigarette smoke. (I have asthma so it bothered me quite a bit.) The carpets were stained and filthy. When I got into bed I felt itchy. I looked at the sheets and there were little brown marks on them. My husband said it looked like dirt and to sleep on top of the covers. (which made me more creeped out since I read that those rarely get washed) The area around the toiled was filthy. I took a pic which I will attach. I'm a Red Roof member so I'm not comparing this hotel to a Hyatt or Hilton...only to other Red Roofs and this was unacceptable. This will be a stop we will never make again.
