La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kyle - Austin South

Nice place to rest and relax. The Customer service is great. Tracy especially. They are so nice and eager to help. My room was nice and the beds are comfortable. My AC was cold so that I had to turn it down some. The hotel is a little used but the rooms are nice. I stayed here when this hotel was new and now that it is a lil older. I still enjoy my rest and relaxation. Breakfasts are also good. 4 out of 5 stars..

Road trip, great 1 night stay One night stay while traveling. Front desk attendants were very courteous and helpful both at check in and checkout. Room was comfortable, could use some updates, but was clean. Breakfast had multiple selections and was kept supplied by a very friendly attendant. Elevator was out which was a minor inconvenience for us but overall great stay for the cost.

a quick stay the property needs to be updated. the room needed maintenance. the elevator was not in service. the grout in the bathroom was moldy and the room had a musky smell when you entered. when you open the fridge it would tip over and had to be held to open .

Great stay.! Nice clean room. The room and bed and bathroom were very clean. The bed was the best, very comfortable and aided a very restful night sleep. We’re locals from Kyle and stayed with our furry friend as our AC went belly up earlier in the day. Not wanting to complain, however, the hotel appeared to be undergoing some exterior renovations as the pool area was closed and the elevators were not operational. The interior corridor common areas were in definite need of a good cleaning. Overall, these are aesthetically pleasing items and I’m sure will be looked after by the operator. The room was tidy, clean and the AC worked! That’s what was important to me. Thanks for a relaxing overnight stay! .

HORRIBLE. Not much good to say…..if any. We stayed there to attend event in Austin, and got a two room suite, as we had our adult son staying with us. ACCESS: *While this is not the fault of the property, it was hard to get to while going southbound on I-35, as we had to go through a neighborhood to get to it, due to the road design. OUTSIDE: *The parking lot was falling apart, and there was exposed rebar. INSIDE HOTEL: *The halls were dirty. BATHROOM ISSUES: *No bathroom mirror *The door from the hall into the bathroom would not secure. *Had to fight with the tub drain to keep it open, so the shower would not fill up with water. *There were only a couple towels and no washcloths *There were no toiletries. ROOM: *Room mirror was not mounted and just leaning against the wall. *Found long hairs on the couch, that were definitely not ours. UPON LEAVING: We informed the desk clerk when about the problems, who wrote them down, but seemed like they were not really concerned.. When I advised that there was no bathroom mirror, they responded “yeah, we know”……..so why would you rent a room like that. The next night, we were in San Antonio and stayed at a similar property, that we have stay at regularly, and the difference was IMMENSE, and not comparable.
