Excellent Place to Stay in Lafayette We had not stayed at a Staybridge Suites hotel before and were curious about the brand. We chose this hotel because of its high ratings on Google and Trip Advisor. It deserves its stellar reputation. At the time of our visit the hotel was actively renovating the fourth floor. Our room on the third floor had just been redecorated. We were the first guests to stay in the renovated room. The new decoration was tasteful and the room was very clean and comfortable. When I had a question about some construction noise from the fourth floor, the manager and assistant manager were very helpful and accommodating.

Comfortable but Property Needs Renovation Pros: Really good breakfast served by the nicest lady, comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, quiet, location only OK. Cons: Property is beat up. Furniture in our suite was all banged up, walls chipped and scuffed, bathroom fixtures all old, spots on carpeting, and everything is dark and cavernous looking. Whole property needs a renovation, and we were told that it is going to happen at some point. Property is 15 years old and never been renovated. I personally would not stay here again until work is done.

Pleasantly kind, benevolent and courteous Awesome place to stay the manager and the staff are excellent with customer service along with being very knowledgeable. The room was clean the breakfast is very great. Above all this is a great place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

Needs new carpet & paint Room was clean. This hotel takes a beating- kids in and out for various sporting events. (Little league, pony league, etc.) I am attaching pictures to prove my point. The mattress was very old and uncomfortable. My husband and I were constantly rolling to the center because the center was sunken in. Hotel desperately needs a makeover.

Heaven Sent I had to write this review while this was on my mind. I want to talk about the young man I interacted with at Staybridge this morning that was God sent. I drove 6 hours none stop because my husband had a medical emergency and now in ICU in a state I never visited.I thought I would be allowed to be at his beside but it is not allowed and force to find somewhere to stay. At this point it was already 1:30 am. I couldn’t book on Priceline not sure why and everything close didn’t look the safest in the area I was literally riding around being told they were booked are given a ridiculous price. I call Staybridge by mistake but a pleasant gentleman answered the phone and he was very compassionate about my situation. When I arrived I knew it wasn’t the one I thought I had dialed but at this point it was 3:00 and I just wanted rest. He went far above customer and I thank him for his kindness at that moment because I was having a emotional breakdown and just his kindness was contagious
