Comfort Inn & Suites La Grange

Don’t stay here! During a recent road trip throughout the US we stayed at 6 different Comfort Inn locations. I would rate all of them a 10 except La Grange. From the moment we walked in to reception to check in, to the breakfast attendant we experienced extremely rude service. When we entered the Breakfast room we could see that many items were empty in need of replenishment and the room was busy. The garbage cans were overflowing and folks were looking for food as most of the options were empty. With the door open to the kitchen, I could see a young lady leaning against the counter texting on her phone. When I offered to help her getting things filled up I could see food sitting in a pan ready to be placed in the chaffing dish, she said No she would do it. After waiting several minutes with her still texting I went back in and once again offered to help as the same pan was sitting on the counter and majority of the food was gone. She yelled saying “I told you I would do it” then slammed the door to the kitchen. More minutes pass and she begrudgingly brings out food for the chaffing dishes that was far from warm that obviously had been sitting on the counter for some time. Then returns to the kitchen and once again slams the door. We all have bad days but this was extremely poor customer service. The other 5 locations we enjoyed as the staff went above and beyond to ensure their patrons were treated in a pleasant manner. This place was tired in need of upgrades and the staffs attitude made us regret not booking in one of many other lodging establishments near by.

BEWARE: BE SURE TO READ YOUR RECEIPT TO MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR POINT!!! Although I paid for a "jacuzzi" bath room for my back, the tub was there but the controls had been removed. When I spoke to the desk clerk he merely shrugged his shoulders and blew me off. After checking out I discovered that although I had booked properly through choice hotels website that I had not been awarded any points for my stay. I wound up speaking to the same desk clerk. He ASSURED me I would get my points owed, and then hung up. I had to call Choice Hotels main website customer service number where the representative was more than helpful to get my points properly awarded to me. That desk clerk appears to be absolutely uninterested in any level of customer service.

Never again Lousy everything. Mattress sags in middle, pillows lumpy and flat, duvet cover and 2 pillow cases dingy (clean?). Carpet worn dirty. Shower head mildew faucet handle backward. Hot tub is the shower unsafe to exit. No front Door seal so very noisy and lights from hall all night. Not worth 50, paid 130.

Crooked Stay away from here. I am fighting a charge now. They charged me 187.85 for a so called no show. Look at the dates they responded with. They said I booked it on 8/6/ 23 for 4/18/23. I was in San Antonio on the 18th of April.

Nice Hotel To Stay At Easy Booking & Check-In. More updated than alot of the others I’ve stayed at! The room was spacious and had a small kitchenette for your food. There was a nice Garden Tub in the bathroom with a rubber duccie _to accompany you with your bath. _ The breakfast was actually a “HOT” breakfast and was pretty good to me. It included Sausage Patties, Eggs, Waffles, Fresh Fruit & more! A downside of this hotel was the parking. There were only a few parking spots in the front, then you have to park in the back. Safety was a concern there. And there was no ice in the ice machines at the time, but you can ask the front desk for some. Other than that, it was a good & comfortable stay.
