Very impressive lobby, very odd hotel rooms When we drove in and entered the lobby I was quite impressed. When we went to the room things were a little different ... this looks exactly like a low rent apartment complex, and I'm pretty sure it's one of those extended stay motels. I have to admit I was somewhat nervous about leaving the car but nothing happened so all's well. There is a pool and a hot tub but both were closed.

Fading away .... This former Best Western hotel is a large complex (multiple buildings), with the exterior and hallways deteriorating. I was greeted very friendly upon arrival and received the requested accommodation. A spacious room with king bed and a well-worn and sinking mattress, sofa, desk, chair. Fridge and microwave - though not plugged in. With the fridge temperature button broken, I could not get any refrigeration going after I plugged it in. The TV was not working, but housekeeping came and fixed it. The room and furniture were well worn, but reasonably clean. A nice breakfast including eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, cereal, bagels, cream cheese, juice and good coffee. Considering the room rate, it was overall not a bad value.

Mrs. We flew here from SC to visit our son who lives in Lake Charles. We are frequent travelers who try to travel on a budget. This is one of the WORST places we have ever stayed in. It is in a less than desirable neighborhood, has sketchy ppl walking around, completely outdated, unclean and unsafe. Housekeeping did not come to our room AT ALL, and when we complained we were told to bring our dirty towels to the front desk to trade for clean ones or we would have to pay for more towels! Are you kidding me? Pay for 2 more towels? The floor hadn’t been swept, TVs didn’t work & it looked as if blood was on the ceiling. My CSI kit & luminol would have lit up like Christmas. The ppl who own this “establishment” should be horrified. This place is disgusting, no one was nice, and I am embarrassed that we stayed here for 3 nights, but I had already paid through Expedia. Next time we come we will stay at Hampton Inn, which we should have done to begin with. We deserve our money back as I felt like this was the Red Light District ofLake Charles. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HORRIBLE “motel.” SLEEP IN YOUR CAR IF YOU HAVE TO.

Really needs Renovation We stayed here on May 5, 2018. We booked though a 3rd party, because we never would have stayed here otherwise. The hallway leading to the room needed new carpet. The room furnishings were old. The lampshades were crooked. The spigot on the tub was corroded with a big rust spot in the tub. The walls had mold on them. The rugs were stained as well. I do not recommend staying here until the rooms are renovated, and check the room before reserving it.

Just say NO We checked in and then we checked out. "Our pet policy is placed by a 3rd party and does not reflect the Hotel Policy." Basically, if you have a pet be prepared to pay $50 non-refundable. Initially we were given a smoking room and in the back near to rooms with broken doors. Second room was just as undesirable. Don't even think its worth it for just as 1 night. While waiting to notify the front desk of the definite NO GO, I had to stand behind a guy that decided he needed to scratch his "DEEP SEATED" itch relentlessly. At that point, my intuition to move quick. A plus was they did cancel with no hassle.
