Stay away during renovations The HIE breakfast never fails to satisfy, and they offer daily housekeeping. The newly renovated rooms are up to corporate standards, but I found a couple pubic hairs in the shower, the toilet paper holder was not attached to the wall, the toilet seat was very loose, and they didn’t bother covering up an outlet box from pre-renovation. I had to pass by the areas being renovated several times a day, dodging workers, tools and cables strewn across the floor, a strong paint smell, and torn up walls and floors. The workers banged away for 10 hours a day, and the heavy equipment outside my closed window woke me up. There was no warning about this construction in the app or in my confirmation email. The least they could have done is offered rooms at half off, or better yet, closed the hotel during renovations. You WILL be disturbed by all the chaos.

Room from hell I’ve never been at a worst hotel. I was put in the basement. Where they were doing construction . There was paint on the titles , room numbers weren’t even on the rooms, it was scary getting to our room . There was only me and a friend of mine and we were the only people staying on the floor. When they saw it was two women checking in they should have changed our room. Our ac/heater sounds like an airplane going off in the room. The room didn’t even look like it had been cleaned , when we came back the door to our floor level was locked so we couldn’t get in we had to go back to the lobby. We couldn’t get the tv turned on. I doubt that the fire alarm and sprinklers in our room work. We had to go to the desk to get extra blankets…. We tried complaining but just got I’m just coming on so I don’t know anything. I will never stay her ever again

Pleasant Stay in Portland My mom and I shared a two bedroom suite. The room was very quiet and spacious. The breakfast spread was decent and we had no issues finding a seat even though the room was packed. I worked out in the gym. It’s small but did the trick. Overall, a great stay!

Older property but had OK stay Stayed here for 1 night for business. It’s an older hotel but the rooms are spacious and the staff is very friendly. Free parking on site. Free hot breakfast. There’s a restaurant in the same lot along with a gas station. A little south and there are more restaurants and businesses. Trader Joe’s is a 5 minute drive away. Close to freeways. My room felt outdated and it had somewhat of a body odor smell to it, but not enough for me to switch rooms. Don’t expect a newer property or anything extra.
