Sister / Friends Weekend I stayed at the Hampton Inn for a Conference with Friends. During our stay the hotel lobby was very well kept and the breakfast was average - it wasn't bad just not a big selection. But the lady who took care of the breakfast area was awesome - she does a GREAT job! I hope the owner of this hotel realizes the assets he has in this employee. However this hotel has a few issues - one huge issue is the fact that they only have a maintenance person available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. anytime outside of that time frame - you are on your own (No Help) even from the front desk. We found this out around 11 p.m. on a Saturday night when our toilet was clogged and they basically told us to wait until 8 a.m. for maintenance or plugg the toilet ourselves!! NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE from the front desk.....they need to fix this problem. The other issue we had at the hotel was it had snowed Saturday morning and although it melted quite a bit there was still lots of ice in the parking lot - made it hard to walk without sliding. Otherwise the hotel is very clean and nicely kept from what I could tell.......Thank You

There are a ton of other hotels nearby to pick from instead of this one. Everything about this stay was horrible...from the no show charges applied to a changed reservation to checking into a room which was not completely clean. Our friends had their keys deactivated and no one at the front desk was empowered to take care of the problem without calling the manager. To top off those huge problems, shampoo was empty in shower, water was cold, using the blow dryer made the TV not work, shampoo was empty in shower and elevator was broken when our friends had to check out from the 2nd floor. On a positive note - almost everyone we encountered was super nice, they just are not delivering a good product that is up to Hilton standards.

Nice enough for short stays. Very typical. Nice stay. Room looked clean upon entry. Found a previous towel hanging on the door when we arrived. Ew. Other than that nice. Didn't not partake inn there free breakfast. Parking lot was right. Approximately 30-35 minutes from Hocking Hills area. Plenty to do locally.

Charged me $1100 claiming we broke a TV This hotel charged me $1100.00 claiming that i broke a TV in the room, which we absolutely did not. Everything was fine when we left. It was probably the cleaning the staff, which blamed us. It was a $300 TV at most. I'm waiting to hear back from the management and I'll update this review. Update: After talking with 4 different "managers" I still can't get any answers as to what proof they have, why it took 3 days after our checkout to charge us, where they came up with $1100 and why no one notified me. My bank is disputing the charge because they agree that this is ridiculous and are demanding proof as well. We have trips planned in the future and have already canceled any stays with Hampton Inn or their affiliates over this.

Unworthy of the Hampton name or Hilton brand. Came down to the region to visit Hocking Hills State Park. I do a lot of business travel and am a Hilton Diamond Elite Honors member. I used Hilton Honors points for the stay. I was “upgraded” to Room 203. There’s two red flags when you first walk into any hotel room: the scent of some obnoxious air refresher and the air conditioning cranked down low. This room had both and it was quickly apparent why: it stinks! Definitely something musty, mildewy, or moldy going on in there. I woke up all stuffy. Furthermore, this “suite” was nothing more than a few extra square feet and a microwave oven. It’s a corner room adjacent to a stairwell and the little alcove is absolutely worthless. This hotel was cheaply constructed and poorly maintained. The walls and floors are paper thin and you can hear every car, every motorcycle, every footstep, every slamming door. My wife slept very poorly as a result. The normal, expected wear and tear is band-aided together with amateur repairs. It all adds up to paint an apparent attitude by the owners and management to make short cuts wherever they can. To their credit, I kindly asked to be relocated to another room after a rather sleepless night. My request was accommodated and a third floor room on the back side was MUCH quieter and smell-free. However, from I read, this occurs more often than not. Another example of poor maintenance is the parking lot. Be prepared to CARRY your luggage because the cheap chip seal patch job has gravel strewn around everywhere. Your wheely bag is going to find and get hung up on them repeatedly. As others have stated, the breakfast is short many items of a typical Hampton Inn spread. The “employee” dressed casually in a soccer jersey with a clipboard and chemical sprayer was not foreboding. I wonder what he was spraying for. Normally any Hilton brand, especially Hampton, is reliably a nice place to stay. This location barely makes the grade and would be better rebranded as another bargain brand. By Hilton standards, I’d give this place 2-stars. However, over the broad spectrum of lodging available in the area, it’s about a 3.
