Unpleasant staffs, hotel has wrong information in their own website We chose to be a Hilton Honors as we travel a lot, we booked a room inclusive of breakfast, upon checking in, we were not welcome as a member and breakfast was not discussed, we asked where the breakfast gonna be served, we directed to the location, in the next day we are ready to take breakfast, the staff in the restaurant seems confused, I mentioned that I booked a room with breakfast included, staff told us to go back to the reception to get a voucher, receptionist told me that they do not sell a room with breakfast included, she liked to argue thinking that I am telling a lie so I presented the booking confirmation and mentioned that I booked through Hilton website, so finally she gave me a voucher for 2 adults so I said how about my 2 kids are they not gonna eat?! In the website kids under 5 is free breakfast, then again she argued with me. I felt like im not staying in hilton brand hotel. My point is, this is not my problem that's the company problem, the website is not telling the right information, the hotel is under renovation, their main dining restaurant is a la Carte service not a buffet etc. Staffs are not pleasant, rude, reception staffs are not warm and welcome not supposed to work in the front. Valet people is not too bad, no complain. Hotel is currently renovating that's why it's clean but I don't recommend this hotel. Expensive room rate with breakfast inclusive if you just gonna get a la carte service with just 2 eggs and hard sausage. So no, not to this hotel, I'm not coming back.

Newly reflagged convention hotel served our group well, generally. The hotel was the host hotel for a hobby group for which I serve as convention planner. Everything went smoothly from the making of reservations through check in. Rooms were modern and clean. I had housekeeping service every day. The only hitch was in the dining room. The first day we ordered breakfast from a menu and the meal was served hot and quickly by a friendly and courteous server. After the bulk of the members arrived, the meal became a buffet. Good but nothing really outstanding. For dinner, we weren't sure the place had planned well enough for the number of guests who might eat there. Parking was valet by use of an app. Somewhat difficult to understand and use when we wanted to retrieve our car. One had to prepay for the length of your visit and always were asked to put a tip on each retrieval. No longer just pick up the phone and call for it. Until last fall, the property had been a Radisson but was reflagged and updated to the Doubletree for our June event.

Tisha at front desk made our stay! Give that girl a raise! Tisha at front desk was so UNBELIEVABLY nice! We arrived early and We were having a hard time with app. Tisha got us right settled in to our upgraded room. She was phenomenal!! Hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Safe parking with a skyway connecting.

Thank you Dylan My grandparents were in the town for visiting me at Michigan State University. They were so impressed by the services of PMC Valet, that they insisted me to write a review about the incredible services they recieved. As they mentioned, they were particularly impressed by the warm and enthusiatic help of a valet boy named Dylan. He was very well spoken and helped my grandparents with their luggages, carried them to their room and was very cordial.

Doesn’t seem ready for prime time This hotel is very convenient to the Capital and conference Centers in Lansing. The common areas are nice and the rooms are fine. The elevators are worn looking and have signs saying they will be refurbished soon. The biggest weakness is in dining. I was too tired to walk somewhere else and chose to eat there despite seeing several tables of folks who looked like they had been waiting a long time for food. The prices are higher than I would expect. I ordered a small salad that was nice but also $15. There is a bar there and I asked my server if they have Sauvignon Blanc and he asked me what color it is. He came back quite awhile later to say they don’t have it but they also don’t have a list and he didn’t know what they do have. I gave up on the wine. There is a shop in lobby that advertises Starbucks coffee. I ordered an extra hot latte in the morning and the server handed it to me and said if it wasn’t hot enough I could put it in the microwave. All of the staff I saw were young and seemed to be minimally trained and stumbling through their roles. My one night stay was over $200 and I expected a more professionally run hotel.
