Great value at the Downtown Grand We make an annual Vegas trip for our Anniversary, and have stated at the Downtown Grand the past 3 years. We booked direct and got a great deal on the room, with a food & beverage credit. Rooms are always clean and comfortable, convenient parking is right across the street, coffee stand in the lobby. We didn’t take advantage of their huge pool this trip, but it never looked crowded. Employees are consistently friendly & helpful, throughout the property. My only “complaint” is the $1 blackjack table seats were always full, so we didn’t get a chance to play it !

The Grand was a Great Choice. Very clean, great customer service, great amenities, our favorite was the pool. Walking distance to Freemont where you are sure to have fun. Make sure to get your parking pass from the front desk if you park across in the parking structure across the st. AC ❄️ Take advantage of all the specials, free drinks at the bar, $3 hot dogs and beer, $ credit from restaurant across the st. Good food and service recomend over all.

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hype We were drawn to the Downtown Grand by the promise of a $40/day food credit, but it ended up being pretty useless. The main restaurant (Freedom Beat) was completely closed during our entire stay, and there were very limited on-site dining options left to use the credit on. Most of the time, we had to leave the hotel just to find a decent meal. To add to the letdown, the pool was closed for one of the three days we were there — not ideal when you're in Vegas to relax. The room itself was fine — clean and functional — but if you’re looking for entertainment, food, or atmosphere, you’ll have to go elsewhere. Definitely felt like we were missing out staying here. Wouldn’t book again.

Won’t be back after 13 years. Absolutely the worst service in the 25-30 times we have been there. The owners are tying to sell, treat the employees horrible, which shows, actually was going to extend a night but the night people at the desk were to lazy and wanted us to come back in the morning, it was 6pm. Literally the worst stay there ever, have found a new place to stay won’t be back this place has become garbage.

Sad about the service, not the building Well I can’t say a 1 cause I wasn’t there, hear me out. The 2 reflects the customer service I received after. Disclaimer this is on me, but they were willing to help 0% to help with the situation. I accidentally booked for a wrong date, the day I was booking not the 2 months in advance. I called and spoke with customer service explaining the error I made, I’m in the service industry as well and understand sometimes people make mistakes. I wasn’t asking for any type of refund, had my confirmation number ready and everything and I still wanted to book the correct dates, I was simply looking for a little understanding. Obviously was hoping for a discount, but would have gladly taken drink vouchers or any sign of let us make this better somehow. Instead I got a pretty blunt, “There is nothing I can do.” Followed by “can I help you book those other dates?” I was kinda taken back. I’ve heard good things about this place and wanted to stay here, but now I’m definitely shopping around. Long story short, yes it was my fault, but for them having to do absolutely nothing, they could care less about the $200 I just lost. Not the kinda place I want to spend more money. Side note, the accident booked day was a Monday, not exactly high traffic in Vegas and I booked a couple hours before check in, so they weren’t sold out or anything.
