Downtown Grand Las Vegas

$3 beer and hotdogs & a great stat minus that AC loud unit Three dollar hotdog beer combos and drink tickets at check in!? We loved it here minus a few down falls. First off price point was amazing, check in with Gregory (give this man a raise) was even better he was great and so helpful! Now the rooms were good the bed so soft, clean, and the pillows amazing. The issue… the air conditioner was so loud we had to have the tv at level 50 to hear it over it. And we were in a remodeled room. The pool was good, not kid friendly because it is small and raised above ground. But I mean it’s a hotel on Fremont so I wasn’t expecting kid friendliest. Did have corn hole that my kids enjoyed. Parking is actually annoying, you do get a parking pass but trying to figure out where to go to check in and then having to move the car down the road and walk out a side door because the elevator was broken. The issue with the walk is out the door at least 4 homeless always sleeping and that rough with kids. Over all, fix the loud AC and it’s a great little get away even with kids.

Well..it’s somewhere Staff was nice and you’re in a fun location, I prefer Fremont to the Strip. My bed had a huge drip and made sleep uncomfortable and sheets weren’t the cleanest, my toilet was clogged upon arrival but did get resolved. They charge an additional $100 on top of the resort fee which I was not a fan of. Have yet to get my refund back on that and will call if worst comes to worst.

A GRAND STAY! Very friendly ,very helpful and very clean to the staff who cleaned my room, they did an awesome job. Great location for some attractions and restaurants walking distance. Good food in-house as well it was a fantastic “GRAND “ experience. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who stays in Vegas you won’t regret it and of course they have a casino in house.

Greatest place to stay downtown. Grateful for every single worker here they are the best an deserve the highest praises from the above an beyond job they all do.

We have been going to Las Vegas since 1989. We have tried Strip, Downtown and off-strip properties. We have never had a cleaner room, nicer pool or better employee interaction than we had at the Downtown Grand. Yes, the casino is smaller than most. But because of that, by the third morning we were there, the cocktail waitress was like seeing an old friend (wish I had gotten a name, but by far the most attentive CW in Las Vegas. The pool was beautiful, clean and a great place to unwind. The room (Gallery tower, King w/ mini fridge & Coffee) was super clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was strong with no temp issues. We asked for the "quietest" room at check-in and were told the view would be of a mural (we no longer care about view, we care about quiet). It was fantastic. no sound from Fremont or container park, no street sound at all. Had read other reviews that mention thin walls, but we noticed nothing. The elevators (3 in the bank) were quick, smooth, and I cannot stress this enough, clean! As for the casino , they offer good blackJack rules - 3/2 etc... (it is continuing shuffle), low min-$10, and a good variety of machines. Since it is smaller, they may have a lower number of identical machines, but the selection is still very varied. The player's club is one of the most helpful and accommodating ones we have encountered. Mike was helpful on the floor with questions about freeplay, as well as in the booth with point accumulation and using points. Everyone was helpful with whom we talked. The only thing I wish they had, is a logo gift shop. I have worn many hats and Tees from previous properties that we stayed and liked, and The Downtown Grand would have been a great addition. Certainly will recommend this property to others.
