Bag check at the Flamingo Las Vegas bag check at flamingo hotel Las Vegas was awful I was dropped off from shuttle from airport. I was early so I decided to check my bags. I check them at the entrance I came in. when my room was ready I went back to retrieve my bags and was told very rudely even insulting that I was at the wrong place to get my bags I told him I check them there and thought I should get them back there still rudely told my I had to go to another area. I followed his instructions and when down and saw bell check counter. they saw my ticket and again told me not rudely but could not give a damn to go outside to another location. I went there and the person I gave the ticket to again the bags were not there. However at least he helped and went somewhere else and brought my bags to me finally he was the only one to help. When I went back to where the bell desk area I noticed neither person at the bell desk had move at all to bad they were so busy talking to each other. Bad way to start my stay there must be some kind of turf issue with i guess 3 ways to check your bags. Not to mention the little bit of panic I when thru wondering if they were lost. The rest of the stay was good but that really started if off badly

Good location Great place to stay. Good location. Clean and easy to check in and out. Very busy!!!! Check your billing. We were double billed on parking and had the hassle of finding the right dept to correct it.

Won't stay at Flamingo again I took my daughter to Las Vegas after almost dying after a surgery gone wrong. I spent 44 days with her at the hospital and never left her side. It was also going to be her 43rd bd on the 30th of November. When we arrived by car, we were suprised that there was a $25.00 daily fee to park in the Flamingo's parking garage. It did not go by hours parked. It was $25.00 as soon as you entetered. We drove to Valet to get assistance to get all of our suitcases out, but cars were backed up. So, we parked ourselves (on the top level) and carried all of our baggage. The signage to get to the Flamingo was awful. It was only by word of mouth, by others who had went the wrong way, that we found our way to the walkway and registration. When we finally got to registration there was a long line. So, we decided to do self check in. That pary seemed to go smooth until we got to the room. When we arrived to our room on the 14th floor, the key cards would not work. My daughter went back down to registration and came up with new key cards. Again, the cards would not work. By that time, I had it. I went down to registration and told them the key cards did not work again. The best the guy could come up with is that the mechanism in the door was not working. The desk was sending up maintenance to check the door. It was a long drive from Colorado and we were exhausted. I demanded a new room instead of waiting and we were moved to the 24th floor. The next day, we spent aprox 15 minutes in the wildlife sanctuary and took some pics. I made reservations at the Flamingo because they have a heated pool that was supposed to be open limited hours (according to their web site). The pool was not open! Why were we and everyone else charged a resort fee? We arrived at the Flamingo late on the 12th and checked out on 14th. It cost us $50.00 to park and we never moved the car during that time. Restaurants in the hotel were costly. 2 medium Starbucks coffees were $27.00! Some words of advice, get ready for poor signage, long lines, parking fees, old rooms, minimal valet, resort fee, a pool that is not open. We had more fun staying off strip which was more quiet, no parking or resort fee, had inexpensive drinks and rooms were nice. For anyone looking for the "old vegas" on the strip, it is gone.

Picking a different hotel if I come back Disappointed with the quality of the room, lack of tea/coffee facilities, limited Wi-Fi ($55 resort fee and limited to two devices per room whereas other resorts provide for free). Worst of all was the noise from the Mexican bar below the hotel. Floor 20 and impossible to sleep until it stopped at 03:30. Was quieter on the street outside the bar !
