Flamingos come at a high cost. I will always stay at the Flamingo as they have flamingos! Our room was mostly clean (shampoo container was empty and there was some trash left on the floor). My issues were more about other hotel policies and costs. Pool: I would estimate that over half of the seating you had to pay for. I felt the music was too loud and the pools closed way too early. We asked for a late checkout and was charged an extra $30 for that luxury. I would like to see luggage carts available to the general public. We split a pretty crappy hamburger at the food court. It was not good and cost over 30. I just feel that the hotel charges - not only too much - for every little thing. But, they have flamingos, centrally located, spacious, well-appointed rooms, so, I will come back.

Why I went from a 3 star to 1 star I’ve been here many times. Perfect location and great options all around. The problem is that things are getting old and they don’t work. No internet connection. Elevators don’t work well, ice machine not working. I would have given it at least a 3 star but the reason for 1 is because of the woman at the front desk and the hotel fees. When so many things don’t work, I can’t believe that they still charged us $343 in 4 night stay. We asked to help us out with the resort fees and they said there wasn’t enough issues to help you with the cost and you never came down to tell us. That was a lie. I did go down there, and even talked to the same lady both times. When I told her it was her I talked to the first time when our keys stopped working she said no I didn’t with a lot of attitude. This is the reason I won’t back. On a side note, we had one more stay but at Mandalay Bay for one night. I’ve never been there before but been to Flamingo 3 times from Canada. She made us feel amazing. I already wrote them a 10/10 review for their experience and quality of hotel and pool. Etc. It’s really too bad because I’ve always enjoyed the experience at Flamingo until now.

Ask for a renovated room as the older ones are very outdated. The staff were great. The room was dated and , unfortunately, not as clean as it could be. The floor between the beds was actually soaking wet.

What happened to great customer service... Starting the parking: this is the 2nd time staying at Flamingo and we had nothing but issues trying to leave the parking structure. On Aug 11, 2025 we were trying to check out of the parking structure and literally waited around 20 mins to exit because no one could get out. I called the front desk and the lady I was speaking with argued with me to push the Call Attendant button. I explained multiple times that is what all 3 rows were doing and no one is assisting anyone. It was frustrating to say the least. Next the newly renovated pool: as much as I pay to reserve a daybed or couch, the service from the prior years I come to Flamingo sucked this time around. Maddie and Dom were our servers. They were not bad but they should have come to check on my party more often. We always were low on Ice and had to ask all the time. The sub was moving and no one offered to help move the chairs around so there was shade, I HAD TO DO IT MYSELF and most importantly when there was an incident that someone threw up in the bar/pool area, the server's should have checked on everyone and no one was around to serve us. I paid well over $500 just in service and almost $400 for the rental service, there should have been more service. Past visits I had excellent service-what happened. Service should have been top notch especially just recently renovating the pool everyone should have been on their business.
