Lack of Customer Service My stay at the Flamingo Hotel was very disappointing. There was no shampoo container in the shower, and after waiting 20 minutes, housekeeping brought a small bag with shampoo, conditioner, and soap. To make matters worse, the shower itself did not work. When I reported the issue around 9:15pm, the manager told me I would need to wait another 20 minutes for engineering to check it. The response showed little concern, hospitality, or problem-solving. The front desk staff also demonstrated poor customer service throughout the process. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and inadequate customer service made for a frustrating experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

Below Average, Dirty Room We stayed at the Flamingo for a couple days for some fun and we did enjoy our time in Vegas. However, the hotel stay always not the best. Upon entering the room for the first time, there was trash by the nightstand, crumbs on the table, and the fridge had old food (from previous tenants I assume). My mother who is hadicap, was not able to get any accommodations. When booking, were not able to get and ADA room (fine bc they are busy) but they advised we can get a shower chair for her. There was no chair. When we called to request it yet again, they said they do not have any. The housekeeping and bell handler for baggage, they were really nice but as for the rest, below average. Personally, I may not go back as the ither hotels can at least ensure we have a clean room. Not impressed.

New Pool is Awful - Hope someone gets fired for that I have been staying at Flamingo for some 12 years. I stay there for one reason: the pool. It was beautiful. Large and sprawling with lots of nooks and crannies. But then in the fall/winter season for 2024 to 2025 they renovated and completely redesigned the pool area. What they did is an absolute travesty. Half of the "pool" now is 3 inch deep water filled with daybeds for rental. It is around the perimeter too so often you find yourself walking through this area. You have to do this awkward goosestep to avoid splashing water everywhere. Really Annoying. They built three VIP pools for Cabana holders but they just turn into a sort of deadzone where nothing is happening since cabanas rental rate is usually low and they're located away from the stage. Worst of all the actual common area with a normal pool depth is TINY compared to the old one. I'd guess the new pool has 1/4 of the 3.5 ft depth area as the old one. Any meaningful number of people in the pool and it feels like you're packed in like sardines. No avoiding anyone or anything. One of the best things about the old one is there was vast 3.5 ft depth square foot age and many nooks and crannies. It could fit a ton a of people comfortably and if there were people you wanted to avoid it was easy to do so. I'd ask what were they thinking but I know it was to monetize as much of the pool as possible. But man there is a point where you move too far in that direction and you kill the golden goose. I think they did that here.

Key was to visit Grand Canyon snd enjoy the much ralked about strip Affordable rates, central to main attractions on the strip. Some guidance would be appreciated on example, Grand Canyon to avoid online scam bookings.
