Needs some major changes I attended a conference with 5,000 business and student professionals. I truly appreciated and enjoyed my time but the hotel has some major remolding to do and the service was not pleasant. Our room had stained carpets and some of our conference members even pointed out that they are very outdated. We only had one roll of toilet paper in our room for our 3 night stay. The towels were old and worn down, as if they havent been changed for two years. The pool floor was heavily stained and the presentation was not welcoming. We went to another hotel to swim..I actually paid $50 to access a different pool. Again, same feedback from the pool towels, worn out and discolored. The 52 floor garbage near the elevators had dirty diapers and at 9AM, that garbage should have been collected...it looked very trashy. I have no intentions of staying at the Harras in LV, ever!

Grifters. Take this as a cautionary tale when you receive offers for comped nights in Las Vegas: Received an email from Caesar’s Entertaiment for some free nights at one of their properties. My partner and I decided to take them on it and booked 2 nights at Harrah’s in Las Vegas. The fees we have been bombarded with are staggering. We got here at 3 pm and were told they could check us in at 3:30 for a $25 fee otherwise we’d have to wait till 4. We waited till 4. Before even reaching the room you’re hit with a $50 (plus tax) per night resort fee. $20 per day parking fee. $100 per night deposit fee. That’s $350 so far for the 2 nights. Then in the room they provide a big fairly new looking Kuerig coffee maker and paper cups but if you want the coffee you can purchase it from the non-refrigerated “mini-bar” for 50 bucks or a warm diet Red Bull with a half inch of dust on it for $22.50 or a warm dusty Gatorade for 18 bucks. Also, the resort fee only allows two devices per room per stay to connect to the WiFi but you can purchase additional device connections for $15/device (no joke). I was gonna hit the gym later but I’m sure there’s a fee for every step on the treadmill and no doubt there’s a fee for the pool too so I’m not even gonna bother. Hey Caesar, MGM, Wynn, Boyd, etc. - you are grifters and you have ruined Las Vegas with your BS fees. It used to be a fun getaway with a chance to win a little money. Not anymore. You nickel and dime your customers and you have taken all the fun out of it. I won’t even get into your grimy casinos where no one ever wins a dime anymore. Thanks for the $350 “comped” room, it’s been a blast so far.

Poor customer service The customer service experience was significantly below expectations. We experienced a 45-minute delay during check-in. The front desk staff combined our two reservations to streamline the check-in process, which was helpful. However, upon returning to our room after dinner on the first night, our keys did not work. Keys were remade, but continued to malfunction, requiring multiple visits to the front desk—four times in one evening—and nearly an hour of our time due to improper reservation merging and incomplete guest information. Each time, we waited in line again to receive new keys. At one point, security assisted us by buzz-in to our room, and after retrying the keys, they finally functioned. The issue persisted the next day, resulting in additional key remakes and involving security and engineering staff. Engineering confirmed that the keypad was functioning correctly, and the problem was with the faulty keys. Front Desk staff, including Manager Mike/Mark, insisted that we were using the keys improperly, specifically suggesting we were putting the keys near our phones, which was not the case. Overall, we received nearly two hours of service dedicated solely to key replacement, resulting in a total of 11 keys for our room. Despite assurances from Mike/Mark that compensation would be provided for the inconvenience, nothing further was offered. Additionally, there was a billing discrepancy: I was told that resort fees had already been paid, but I was later charged an additional $100 per room in resort fees. This inconsistency was confusing and indicates a miscommunication during the reservation and check-in process. Overall, this experience was unsatisfactory. As a frequent traveler, I have not encountered such issues before. The attitude of the Front Desk Manager, Mike/Mark, and the repeated implication that we were responsible for the key problems was particularly frustrating. The restaurant is located on the second floor, and Walk-ons offers happy hour exclusively at the bar. The bar features bar seating and high-top tables. During our visit with my friends and their 92-year-old mother, who was unable to sit at the high tables or chairs, we inquired with three staff members whether it would be possible to order happy hour items at our table. Unfortunately, we were informed that this was not permitted. The restaurant and bar were not busy at the time, and there appeared to be no reason to decline our request, especially since we were only ordering three food items without alcohol and members of our party physically could not sit at the bar. Additionally, the food quality was subpar, with small and inconsistent portions. Three of us ordered the same meal, but portion sizes varied among the plates. Additionally, the minibar prices are excessively high. Overall, my experience during the stay was disappointing, and I am unlikely to return or recommend your hotel to others.

It was ok but no refrigerator, no microwave! Closed the pool early! Charged for parking every day $20 was ridiculous! Having to pay extra to have your room cleaned??? Really??
