Lovely hotel Great hotel. Lovely spacious rooms. Upgraded to a suite as they didn’t have the room we booked originally for some reasons. Suite is great with amazing sphere views but beds are quite small. Hotel is huge, almost too big to navigate but has everything you could possibly need. Pools nice but most of the pools are often closed which is deceiving and not great when paying so much in resort fees. Monorail makes getting around very easy and good choices are brilliant. Great selection at food court and the souvenir cup with free soft drink refills is great. Would defo stay again.

BAD stay My boyfriend and friends staying in our room had an absolute BAD experience with MGM Friday during our stay our water was shut off from 10 am -3 we had. A wedding to get ready for and none of us showered we were extremely upset and inconvenienced then when the water finally came back on our shower was still not up and running until I had to call maintenance Saturday morning and we didn’t shower for over 24 hours which is gross I dont understand Why you guys would shut the water off during the day on a weekend that was a horrible idea and then when checking out I expressed how horrible our stay was and you guys only offered to remove our room fees horrible customer service for all the money we spent for the weekend we definitely will not be coming back especially to this hotel

MGM Grand Studio Rooms Need another renovation from the most recent renovation around 2022 or 2023. I will start with the good. The head guy over housekeeping provided excellent customer service and there were a few of the cleaning staff that were friendly as well. Now for the bad. We booked the lowest tier room their "renovated" studio room in the studio towers. These rooms and the rugs are not in good condition which was surprising to me because the "renovations" were done less than 3 years ago. The halls smell stale. We stayed in room 3-533 on the 3rd floor. Day of check in the first thing I noticed was a strong foot smell. I checked the bathroom and there was hair on the toilet and in the shower. I checked the bedsheets and there were stains on the sheets. They checked us into this room under the guise of it being ready and superficially it looked as such, but it wasn't. The head of housekeeping came and immediately corrected the situation and the hotel took off the resort fee for 2 days. Next incident we were returning to our room only to find someone leaving our room. Initially I thought the person was coming out of the room next door, but when we got in the room our tv was running and I started panicking. The guy came back to let us know there was a maintenance call to our room, but we confirmed with him that we didn't make the call and he was aware of that because the call was about a TV not working and he saw that there was no issue. We double checked with the front desk and they assured us this was their worker and the mistake was made on their end. Lastly, we had a housekeeper come into our room to clean, we left and came back about 2 hours later only to find our room had not been touched which we didn't understand because she physically came into the room and was still there as we headed out. The hotel was accommodating once again and we appreciated that, but all these occurrences shouldn't have happened in the first place. We booked there because we love their lazy river, but honestly I don't believe we will stay there again. We had a wonderful stay in 2022 in a second tier room it was very clean and we had no incidents at all. Another disappointment was how small the shower stall is. If you are a person of size both width and height you will feel like the incredible hulk in that tiny space. There also is no venting system in the bathroom. Our room also had no view so if that matters book on a higher level. Our window faced a wall. I don't like giving negative reviews, but I do like letting others know of my experience

A hotel that lost its way to become wasteful, rude and confrontational My experience at the MGM Grand was extremely disappointing. On my second day, I visited the lazy river in the late afternoon and left my backpack and tubes nearby while I went to the pool. I was unaware that the lazy river closed at 5 p.m., as the sign is only visible when the gate is locked. When I returned, the gate was closed, and the security guard was unnecessarily confrontational, refusing to let me through. To make matters worse, I discovered my tubes had been deliberately cut and rendered unusable. While guest services had my backpack, they informed me it was “policy” to destroy the tubes — which I found both unreasonable and wasteful. The following mornings were equally unpleasant. On one day, heavy construction above my room began at 6 a.m. — frustrating, but manageable. The next morning, however, it started at 4 a.m. When I called the front desk, I was told the contractors “start when they want” and that nothing could be done, other than refunding my resort fee — an offer I declined. On top of this, my card deposit was for $200 but was charged at $207.49, and no one could explain the difference. I was staying for a corporate Cisco event, which I attend annually, and I have always chosen the MGM Grand in the past. Unfortunately, this experience left me extremely disappointed. Having my personal belongings destroyed, being woken up by uncontrolled construction noise at unreasonable hours, and facing unexplained charges is unacceptable. It feels especially contradictory for the resort to claim environmental responsibility by encouraging guests to skip housekeeping, yet destroy usable items and add to landfill. This stay has left me questioning whether I will return in the future.

Bad experience at MGM Grand Called room service twice, and couldn’t get serviced. Car was hit in the parking garage - still no helpful information was given, although they can see it on the camera.
