Highly Recommend Clean, well maintained rooms. Beautiful view. Elevators were quick, no more than a few seconds wait. Great job by housekeeping. Loved the self check in.

Great Stay!! Great hotel! Check in and out was a little tricky because I had two rooms…made the computer system a little wacky but the staff was great! Very helpful, rooms are spacious and nice! Casino and amenities were awesome! I’d highly recommend

Discouraged with the no water in our room event but more so with the way we were treated! The hotel asked me to write this review so I will be as honest as I can, and this is not hearsay. I was going to stay away from writing a very negative review but the hotel forwarded the link after I completed the hotel survey. We were without water one evening from midnight until sometime before 5 am. We were not notified by hotel staff that this was a planned outage but we did hear about it from another couple. We survived the overnight water outage because we did prepare by filling the bathtub with water so we could flush the toilet. Then the water was shutoff again as we were preparing to checkout at around 10:30 am which the hotel staff claimed was an emergency shutoff. Hotel staff just never seemed to think that having a room without water was a problem. We also could not access our hotel room safe and it took over 3 hours to get someone to replace the battery so we could enter our access code to open it. I want to be clear that the issue was not that we forgot our access code is was that the battery died on the safe. I can't tell you how many times we were told it would be about 20 minutes before the hotel could get someone to our room. We waited about 30 minutes before calling the front desk again each time to check the status of our issue and basically we were told to wait another 20 minutes. The only bright spot was the young man from engineering who finally arrived to replace the battery, he was very apologetic and refused a tip. I couldn't help during this whole process feeling that this was something that the hotel staff had no idea how to solve. A number of time during the conversations personally with staff at the front desk and during our phone calls we were offered compensation for our inconvenience, yet when we checked our folio on checkout there just wasn't much of any compensation and I am still not sure what our final stay total will be. The most discouraging part of our stay was that in discussing our issues with a hotel manager, her kept referring our claims to being offered compensation as hearsay. Which I can't help but take as saying we were lying which I don't appreciate. I would recommend when guests have issues and believe they are being offered some compensation for a severely disrupted stay that they should get the compensation added to their hotel account and immediately ask for a copy of the folie to be printed and delivered. We wish we had done that. Again, I want to point out that I am completing this review because after completing the hotel survey and sharing with them my negative comments they directed me to write this review. I appreciate them being transparent with what happened to us, but I wish our stay at New York New York had been positive.

Great Stay. Great experience from arrival to departure. Elevators knowing where to take me and direct me to the correct one was a thrill as well.
