New York-New York Hotel & Casino

August Vacation - NYNY Room was clean, ready on time, and checkout was easy. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the amount and type of resturants available in the hotel.

High rollers only Vegas is pricing themselves out of business. They can blame tariffs but no it is the corporate bean counters. Food and drinks are almost for the rich.

Vegas is overpriced and dirty The hotel and Vegas in general is overpriced. Conference organizers need to find another city. Vegas caters to people who like to gamble and go to shows. Why would a conference subject us to that overpriced environment

Not returning to the New York New York I called the hotel a head of time because we were definitely checking in after midnight due to the flight conflict, then the agent asked me to download the MGM app and create a account to do the online check in. Even though I booked the room with Marriott site and app, there was no place for me to check in via Marriott app. The Marriott elite status has no power with the New York New York. Upon checking in, the front staff did not mention anything about bonus points or elite member benefits, so I asked. The staff had to look around and found a piece of paper and said you get a bonus or $28 credit per night. I choose the $28 credit. Unfortunately, my final bill did not reflect the $28 credit so currently I am checking with Marriott. No upgrade no elite member recognition. The room was big with clean beds, that's pretty much it. I found a giant hole under the TV where the fridge was supposed to be. I asked the front desk about the fridge and apparently most of rooms do not come with the fridge. I wish I read the room description. The faucet was leaking, so we wrapped the faucet with a towel. There was no "Do not disturb" card in the room, so I asked the front desk to bring us one, but it was too late, the housekeeper was already cleaning the room. I knew that people can still smoke inside the building where the casino is; but the smell of smoke was so strong. I guess this hotel gave up on filtering air anymore? I will never go back to the New York New York again. That's for sure but it's also my fault that I should have read more reviews and researched about this hotel before booking.

Wonderful get away. The Hotel was great. So many restaurants to choose from. Staff was most gracious. Drinks were great and the slots were so much fun.
