Another great stay at Aquarius! This is our go to hotel when we visit Laughlin. It has a great location on the river close to the water taxi and within walking distance to Edgewater, Riverside, and Tropicana. We always visit with a group and they are great about putting us in the same tower and even the same floor if rooms are available. Most of our group walked away with more money than we came with. They have a great selection of slot machines and table games. We enjoy playing the machines with a river view. The cocktail waitress did a great job of keeping us hydrated, especially in the afternoon and evening. We ate breakfast at the cafe and everything was delicious. They even have great daily specials! We love the Aquarius and will be back!

Waitstaff service was slow but friendly enough. I got the feeling they may have been understaffed, particularly in the Cafe Aquarius. Overall, most of the staff we encountered seemed a little lackadaisical. The hotel rooms are dated and need a refresh. We had trouble finding a comfortable temperature in our room due to the old-fashioned thermostat on the wall. The room had wall-to-wall windows but they were so dirty it took away from the nice river view. Casino is very large. The hotel location is convenient for catching the water taxi just outside. For a few bucks, the water taxi will take you to the other casinos/restaurants along the river (it runs between the Riverside Casino at the north end and Harrah's at the south end.) The water taxi drivers are quite amusing and kept us laughing every time we rode.

Great Weekend Getaway ! This is my first time going to Laughlin. My husband and I went with 6 other couples. I was not sure what to expect as I have heard mixed reviews about Laughlin. It was definitely a great weekend getaway.. Our room is on the California side 11th floor. The is lobby and casino is clean but The hotel is dated and you can smoke inside the hotel. (Which felt weird for me to smoke a cigar inside a building) There are several eateries/ restaurants inside the casino. However, we ate on the Riverwalk and a steak restaurant at the edge water . At first , I thought Laughlin was going to be boring , but there was plenty to do. The first night we go there , in the evening, there was a country / rock band playing , line dancing . of course the riverwalk is nice at night . Gives you access to the Riverside Casino and The Edgewater. The other hotels have their own entertainment. Our room is spacious with a king bed , mini refrigerator, view of the river. The room is clean but very dated. (I like to bring my own cleaning supplies with me to clean my room before I unpack) I wiped down all the furniture/ bathroom / toilet / shower. I spray the bed / bring my own sheets. But I must say at night the view is pretty with the casino lights and the boats on the river. I did reserve a cabana on Sunday ( from 11-3pm) . Laughlin is hot and cabana was nice to hide from the heat. The cabana was nice for privacy or to lay out with friends. The cabana came with a mini refrigerator, fan, tv, loungers. I known it’s summer time for the kiddos and are on summer break but for a big hotel I feel like they should have an adult side especially if there is a bar in the pool area. I was not able to enjoy the pool as it started to Fill up with kids. Valet parking is on point. Like I said Laughlin is hot. Makes it convenient to come to front and walk straight to the entrance of the casino vs parking my own car and walking in the heat. My overall stay at the hotel was fun and the staff is very nice. I did not have any problems or complaints.

BAIT AND SWITCH! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT BEWARE THE BAIT AND SWITCH! Now I remembered why I will never come to this hotel again. We made reservations in February for our anniversary and requested the California Tower. When we arrived to check in they told us that they had given all of those rooms away to other people it doesn't matter that we requested it that was only a request. They Don't Really Care to accommodate their guests, as long as you give them your credit card that's all they care about. We prepaid for a suite in the California tower for our anniversary and they said they give it to somebody else. The manager Michelle Perez was unprofessional. Apparently this happens all the time so they really don't care. She put us in the lowest, worst, room that she could right by the parking lot and happily took our $1,000. WE WILL NEVER RETURN!

SCAM SCAMMER HOTEL BEWARE!!!! they have charged a 588$ smoking fee to someone who specifically needed a non smoking room due to asthma. They said they use "state of the art technology" to detect that smoke was detected at 6am!? They refused to refund and said talk to your CC company. THIS IS HOW THIS HOTEL MAKES ITS MONEY. SCAM! Not to mention the receptionist was super rude and when she tried to over charge us and I told her I knew what she was doing she apologized and came up with some weird excuse about "people not telling her things?" Horrible experience and now we have to try and fight with our CC.
