Not what we expected. This hotel needs a thorough cleaning. Everything from the elevators to the rooms. The breakfast was awesome. The lady that ran it did a great job. The beds were comfortable. But the floors need a deep cleaning. It is convenient to the highway.

Away from Hubbub of "HomeTown" area-Laurel Our stay at this HIE was good. We had a very clean, comfortable room with plenty of room for the 3 nights we stayed. The staff was friendly and helpful upon checking in and out. The breakfast was better than expected with biscuits and gravy each day that made my morning. Plus it had the usual fare of 'hotels' w/breakfasts. It was still close enough to downtown that it didn't take long to get to the center where all the fun happened. Tours, food, museum, etc.

Less than good Got to say, this HIExp was the worst I have stayed at. The room's floors were nasty. The bed and linens were good. Best thing was the breakfast, little lady did awesome job preparing it. It was also not close to any of the downtown "Home Town" sites.

A FAIR REVIEW We have been traveling around the country and staying at various (Brand) hotels. This Holiday Inn is beginning to show its age and lack of maintenance. On the surface, everything seems OK, but then the "little things" show themselves. It is nothing serious, but after being in Facilities Maintenance for over 40 yrs it is tough not to notice.
