ECONO LODGE UNIVERSITY LAWRENCE, KANSAS - CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE CHEAP STAY This is a no frills, very clean and comfortable stay for under $100 a night. Incredible. The manager is very helpful and kind. The rooms are very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the location is so close to grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and shopping. I highly recommend this for the person who does not need the mini bar.

Clean and Quiet Great stay - we got in late and stayed one night in a king room with two adults and a toddler. The grounds are clean and landscaped, the lobby is clean and service was prompt and kind. The room was clean and had a big TV, mini fridge, and clean bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Free breakfast included coffee, tea, milk, juice, cereal, bananas and mini muffins. This is hands down the nicest and cleanest cheap hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Would recommend!

DON'T STAY HERE! Do not be fooled by the pictures or the reviews. This place recently changed owners and is HORRIBLE. You will pay a lot of money because it's a college town and places are scarce during designated weekends. This should be the LAST place you stay at. It was dirty, the sink was so stuffed with hair that we couldn't brush our teeth. The breakfast is laughable - cereal and milk - we were there 3 nights and the second day the beds weren't even made, the place was not cleaned. The commode came off the floor, there was mold between the bathroom and the floor. I could go on and on - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - DON'T STAY HERE!!!!

Not bad Came to Lawrence to watch a football game. Room was clean and comfortable. About 2 miles from mass street. Plenty of bars and restaurants close. Continental Breakfast was dry cereal, milk, juice and bananas. Not the Four Seasons but I would stay here again if needed.

Solid stay Room was clean and perfectly functional. No breakfast served. Easy parking and easy check out. Saw no issues with the guests or parking lot. Only odd thing I was was that the bed frame appeared fairly new, and yet had HUGE scrapes on it like it had been pulled around a parking lot by a car. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of hot water.
